Which Season 6 designer is your favorite?

You know the old saying: There’s no second chance for a first impression. So, who won your love after episode one?

Did you secretly love Blanche’s tea light holders? Were you wowed by Cathy’s camera presence (and Emmy awards)? Impressed by Leslie’s coffee table pick?  Loving Karl’s jungle-inspired paint job?

    • Like Kathys and Leslies taste but personalities stinks for a TV show, can't take Megs scruffy voice would n't watch her show either. Like Dougs and Karls designs the best so far. J chill out Doug saved you from the cutting board !

  4. It's really too soon to pick a favorite. Karl's tree mural was really creative. And Kellie kept her cool, even with white paint all over her shirt, she didn't seem to mind. White room challenge should show some individual sparks.

  5. Cathy was a snot. I wasn't sure about Leslie in the intro but liked her more as the episode went on. I like Kellie the best, personality wise, so far. I would watch a show called design crimes. Out of the two bottom people I would have kept the one who had better ideas but executed them poorly over the guy who was able to do a great paint job of an inappropriate color.

  7. Doug and Leslie seems to be the most talented so far. Looked at all their portfolios, as annoying as Blanche was coming in with her insanity questioning “does everyone have credentials” she has an impressive portfolio but by her performance it makes you wonder who executed her designs. Kevin should have been sent home that orange room was a nightmare. Considering the room they picked was the master bedroom and it ended up looking juvenile, something no kid would want to sleep in. Who sleeps in a high energy room?

    J. whatever, uggh…basically fabric draped crappy design. Doug was the only reason she moved forward. Her portfolio is awful. Karl has the best personality so far, he carried Kelly and most designers would have made that nook a window seat of some kind. The bench Kathy designed should have been a wall of tall plants or trees to add some oxygen, natural element to the room. Leslie has a very good eye, simple elegance does describe her approach. Her portfolio is really good. Tyler why is he even there? Did you see his portfolio, yikes? Meg has real good energy she is a riot to watch and I’m glad she doesn’t fit the typical good looking, thin HGTV profile.

  8. I don't know about Cathy's tv experience and awards. It would be spooky to watch a whole show with her,,,the way she widens her eyes,,,,kind of scary.
    I did like quite a few of the design ideas, but have no favorite yet!

  9. Somehow Cathy seems like Nina from last year. Cathy thinks that she is so superior just because she's won five Emmy's (OK, fine, that is pretty cool) but she was barking orders at Leslie and that was so annoying! And she acts like an angel in front of the judges and you would think she would be more muture, I mean, she's an adult!!! I wonder what her family thinks of her when they watch the show…

  10. Selection Committee has done a great job finding talent this year. The first challenge was interesting and gave everyone a level playing field. White room is next and should be very interesting. Personality wise….Cathy is egotistical power hungry female that needs to brought down a notch or two. If you ever need your confidence shot down she's the person for the job. Any show she host would be brutal.
    Kellie, Karl, Meg, Tyler and Lindsey are team players. It will be come apparent as the weeks go by.
    Would love to hear a lot more direction from the hostess as to the challenge of budget, time, restrictions and more coaching like David is doing. Judges seem to be less critical this year which is good. BBW
