  3. After watching the first episode, out of all the designers doing camera challenges, I feel that the host is the worst one on camera. She's one of the reasons that I don't watch HGTV'd anymore. I mute her when I can.

    • Completely agree! She is so one note and sounds like she is reading straight from a script (and badly) rather than being personal and involved.

  6. i am stunned cathy [sn]hobbs wasn't the first to exit. hgtv is all about talent, likability, cool under pressure and presence…she has none of the above. get rid of her asap!

    • Um, what? No cool under pressure? Cathy did the best on camera and hasn't shown anything unlikable so far.

  7. Totally agree on Cathy, but we all know they have to keep her for awhile because she is such a harsh unkind person and that makes for good t.v. She was lucky to ride on Leslie's coat tails last week…

  10. I'm with those of you who think Cathy will stay for awhile. She's HGTV's Omarosa. They need her so the audience will have someone to hate for a few weeks!! It's working with ME.
