Haven't watched any episodes so far. With the same judges as last year, it's quite boring. It's more the Vern Yip Show then anything with Vern chastising the contestants for doing what he's done for years on Trading Spaces. Every room was full of granny smith apples, lemons and candles. Zzzzzzzzz! Lisa LaPorta, Sabrina DeSoto and Sophie Allsop could each do a better job then Vern. Genevieve isn't much better. I remember her putting rusted metal on someone's wall in their living room. It was horrible. Candace is good but is too high end, you never hear her budget or time constraints and she uses eyelevel electric fireplaces too much. When they change the judges, I'll watch again. I love David Bromstad and watch his show Color Splash. He is good. I see they brought him in to try and boost the ratings.
But don't you get sick of David's ridiculous art work. He painted a piece of sushi for someone once. Awful.
I disagree with you on Candace…..she is wonderful, and likes to have fun with her designs, and her workers. I would love to see her, Lisa LaPorta, Sabrina DeSoto, and John together….,
I would NEVER watch a show hosted by Cathy…she has no design and can't work with anyone. Her abrasive personality and they way she makes her eyes bug out is so distracting that you can't even listen to what she has to say. I think the ones that have left already needed to go and Cathy needs to GO!!!!
I will be glad when Omarossa is gone. I would never watch her show.

Don't pick on Antonio, at least he is ….his own person, and very nice to everyone. I love his designs for the type of designs he likes to do.

OK someone is a total B_tch, and I have to laugh that she has the nerve to complain about other people doing work when all she ever does is go shopping…Last week what did she really contribute, it's not like she designed that coffee table that they raved about.
None of them are great but once again we only talk about Cathy… Calling her names is that necessary… Just a show honey calm down..We dont even know what the prize is anymore…When David and Kim it was a million dollar contract… they dont disclose those features of the show anymore which is bogus…This is a competition everyone is not going to be friends.. I sure wouldn't want you as a friend… you need to was your mouth out with soap..
Sorry Mrs. Kravitz, I call them as I see them…Her biggest problem is: she believes just because some of these people aren't interior designers by trade, that they can't possibly be as good as she thinks she is…These are grown adults, not little kids…They should be able to work as a team and give in take…I really wonder how she handles a client that doesn't agree with everything Ms. Chatty Cathy says or wants to do…I'll pass the soap to you after I'm done and maybe you can try to wash the stench off your own Cathy attitude.

I think we all know why Cathy is no longer a newscaster, she doesn't play well with anyone. We're not impressed that you've traveled the world, so quit "country dropping," and just go away.

Wow, really.?Omarossa? Michelle Obama now Cathy Hobbs. You guys really do hate assertive African American women. If she was in the kitchen smiling and making a fool of herself you would be voting your little butts off. The fact is, African American women have always been mis represented and this show is no different. I find the comments on this blog against Cathy, rasist, repugnant and reprehensible. I hope all of you think twice about your comments and ask yourselves from where they come.
Thank you for that sir, but being an African American woman has nothing to do with being rude to others. I can say I dont care for her attitude either when working with others, she takes over. She doesnt work with others well ATALL. She is not personable at all. No warmth, I know she is trying to win a challenge, but burning bridges allong the way is not good . Id send her home just for her poor bossy attitude.
Define "rude" for me please? She has been vocal and again I say assertive. She has not said anything upsetting. She has just expressed her disagreement. Maybe she is not "nice" but she is effective. If she were a white man in a boardroom she would be labeled "a go getter". I think there is a double standard here.

I guess, it is you, who is racist… If she would be purple, with pretty green spots, I still could not stand her style and her personality and the way how she relates to others.

Michelle Obama is class personified. She is elegant, eloquent, and dazzles whatever project or issue she adopts. To group her with the nastiness of Omarossa or Cathy Hobbs is an insult in and of itself. Even Cathy Hobbs is a day at the beach compared to Omarossa. Still, she comes across as a diva. I do think she toned it down a bit in this episode.
I don't think so. Im as liberal as they come. Not liking Cathy has nothing to do with the color of her skin. She is an aggressive know it all with little or no design sense of her own. Bringing race into the issue is repugnant and reprehensible. Don't be foolish.
Well she is the only black left on the show… No one is talking about anyone ele just her…making a major difference.

For what it's worth, Nina was also a witch but I don't recall her being compared to or flat out being called "an Omarossa.
Omarossa's name has become synonymous with bitchy/bossy/whatever black female, and while one doesn't have to be racist when invoking all that name embodies, it doesn't show up on DS boards until there's yet another tall, dark irritating black chick to link it to *shrug*
I find Cathy to be like a lower energy, less creative DS2 Robb, but newer DS fans probably don't even know who he is.
I am an assertive White American woman with a doctorate responsible for lives in an ER and would NEVER treat the people I work with so condescendingly. The fact that viewers do not like Cathy has to do with her personality not her color. When will people like you stop pulling out the race card when an abrasive, incompetent, and obnoxious human being happens to be non white?????! ( btw—racist is spelled with a c in the middle).

Probably not, because you don't have the skill nor the credentials to do it correctly. Shopping at Pier One or Create and Barrel doesn't make you anything but a shopper.
