Does anyone at HGTV actually watch the footage, seriously, is this a design show or more of a reality tv, lets see if we can get truly obnoxious human beings (no talent just to stir the pot) to create drama. If Cathy stays there will not only be drama but a mass exodus from all the fans who have stuck with the show. Emmy award winning in journalism, not in interpersonal skills. Ego, no, she lives in an imaginary world called Cathyland. I am normally very forgiving and try to see the positives, but she blames everyone, she is stuck in the 1990s and she thinks she is just plain mean. She wanted to dump the head boards last night (okay anyone could see the floor was a disaster). At least if she had the design skills I could tolerate the charade, but she does not and truthfully, no one would watch the show. I feel sorry for her, truthfully but if the producers want to keep up this farce of a design show, then I like the rest will lead the retreat and head for a different channel.
PS Why is David so limited, he should host (the current host is okay but no design style), give comments, feedback and lead us through each episode…he is being so wasted in this show.

definitely. if she won which i know she will not. they will not be able run a full season. there will be no viewers for that show except for cathy because she is so full of herself
I can't stand Cathy, she thinks she is so hot when really she is cold, cold, cold. If she won, I wouldn't watch her show.
I'm sorry to see the Talented Mr. Ripley going home but he really wasted his biggest chance to shine so far. Those plain white squares could have been the start of something really big. On the other hand, Kellie's wall art was an insult to the clients. Hope she doesn't do it again since she is one of my favorites so far to win this season along with Tyler, Mark, and Leslie. Cathy leave next please.
I have to agree with all the comments about Cathy…she is not a team player. She should have already gone!
Cathy has serious people problems!! She DOES NOT know how to play well with others!! Her arrogent attitude is so disgusting to watch and I find it hilarious that she seems to think she has so much more "design experience" than anyone she works with when she herself has only been doing this for a few years as a second career am I not correct? And she is a home stager which is how all her rooms look – "staged" , not designed. She has got to go – PLEASE judges!!!
I don't like Cathy. Don't believe she is contributing anything to the show and she is intensely unlikeable, at least when she is interacting with the other designers. There is good ego when it is confidence and there is bad ego when it rolls over everyone else. Rollin, Rollin, Rollin,,,,,,,,
Ok, Cathy has to go, she is rude to all of the other contestants, her only interior design talents are purchasing items for in the rooms, she hasn't even got her hands dirty yet. She makes everyone else do all the dirty work and leaves them high and dry to shop. I can't believe that the judges can't see this.
And Meg. Stop balling your eyes out. You'll not win on tears, it is going to take talent!
Have I missed something that Cathy has done well? I remember her pillow bench thing that was miserably uncomfortable. The trim on the wall which looked rediculaous it was too low and really not needed. She can't get along with anyone. She is the most arrogant person I've ever seen. She is lazy!
I was expecting more from the contestants since this was a REAL design assignment with REAL clients, who showed no excitement about any of the rooms. Guess they were expecting a WOW factor. I knew Bret was going ,but I had hoped it was Cathy (did she actually DO anything this week, but try to get out of painting and bully poor Kevin). Kellie did not shine at all. I was not as impressed with Leslie rug art as the panel. Meg did a good job with the color. I feel that was a major contribution to the room. Karl's wall was super, love the wavy walls. Mark was OK with the "hammock" art, but I felt he spent too much time on it. Tyler and the chairs was OK and I liked the fireplace finish. Not the best work. Shouldn't HGTV follow up and satisfy the clients (esp. that floor, needed a sealant.) Til the next show.
