I switched channels the moment the 'winner' was announced. Did not stay to watch the 'celebration' and have not watched HGTV since. Just came by to see if Karl is being offered a show. The judges may have a ton of years in the design world, but the winner of this show still needs to have viewers. I will not be one and in fact am so disgusted about the way that this 'Design Star' was so transparently foisted on HGTV 's loyal viewers that "you guys" will not be in my channel line-up anymore. D-E-S-I-G-N , NOT Drama, is what I used to tune in for. Throughout the season Meg failed at ever doing something that I had never seen done before. Loved her eye for fabric, but she is not even as good at that as my sister-in-law, who lives just a few minutes from me.I guess its time for an alternative design channel. There is definitely a void just waiting to be filled.
