Watch Meg’s New Show Saturday at 6/5c

This week, Meg takes on Kim and Andy’s no-personality kitchen — and turns it into a “mo-ditional,” multi-functional kitchen, dining and bar space. Carpenter and host of DIY Network’s Kitchen Impossible Marc Bartolomeo joins Meg as the show’s full-time carpenter.
On Oct 15, 2011 the episode that Meg was taking down a wall for a kitchen remodel she wisely brought in an architect. The only problem I had is that when I checked my span tables for floor joists and found that the longest clear span was far short. There must have been some details left out of the show. 25' clear span would make the 2nd floor feel like a trampoline when you walked across the floor. If that architect said that a 25' clear span for a 2nd floor living space based on 2×10 or 2×12 16" on center was way off.
I did/do watch- I like how she listens to what her clients want.

hi does anyone remeber what meg used in the Oct 15 show to antigue silver mirrors she sprayed something on the back of new mirror and it antiqued the mirror, removed some of the silver to give it an antigue look. thanks
I love Meg and her new show. She brings warmth, energy and great ideas to the show and her finished product is amazing!
I like the show myself. I think she earned her spot, some designs I don't like but for the most part she is a good designer (can't please everyone) I think it Is very RUDE to say someone is homely! Meg is cute as a button good luck on your new show girl!

Where is Meg? She is the best thing to happen to HGTV Why would you cave to negative people who wrote in. There are sooooo many of that loved her. Please give us the show we were promised and stop the madness. She is a real find and cute as she can be. We set up the dvd to catch her shows in case we missed them. Bring her back.

Where is Meg? It seems she had one (l) show and now appears in a strange spot saying nothing about her show or any show. What is going on? She wasn't my favorite but I hope they didn't dump her without giving her what she was entitled to by winning.
I just watched Meg's show where she re-did a kitchen/family/dining room for a family of four. The mother/wife specifically said that eating meals together was important. Meg's design removed the dining room table and replaced it with a kitchen counter that seats 3! What? Are you kidding me? Terrible. Hasn't Med ever seen those cocktail tables that rise up and expand to become a dining table? (I saw it used on another design show and in magazines). She could have at least incorporated that into the room. I won't even start on the stapled cow she put on the doors. Did you see when they are open how terrible it looks? Come on, it's not supposed to be a do-it yourself show.
I like both Meg and Mark. They use lots of color and the rooms seem cozy to me. It may be a "design" show but average everyday people need easy normal ideas they can live with not far out artsy rooms.
