So excited that Yuki is winning Fan Vote right now! Her personality is KILLER and I can't wait until America can see it once the show airs! Congrats Yuki!!! And congrats to all the contestants this year!
I'm torn trying to pick a favorite. Bex Hale had the best ideas, creatively. Obviously, it wasn't all my "taste", because I don't live in that area…but, definitely some creative ideas! As far as a "rich-looking" design…I thought Miera Melba took that one! Her designs were very subdued….but, her they looked rich in quality.
I would hire Rachel or Bex. They both have versatile designs for real people. Bex's rooms look so cool and artistic and Rachel's look cozy and elegant. Some of the others have pretty pictures, but the rooms are not realistic for most of us.
these people are so pretty. Did hgtv pick them for their designs or their looks? Some of them only have 5 or 6 photos. How did they get on this show? I bet they have larger than life personalities. I wish it was really about the design. So tired of watching pretty people with no talent!
while there is a significant level of professionalism in Miera's beautiful portfolios, there is also a stiffness. Am I the only one that wants to slap that snobby look off Daniel's face? Jordan is very good looking and has great taste. Rachel looks sweet and her rooms are cute. Yuki looks fun, but she doesn't have very many photos. Luca and Stanley look like the token builders on the show. Bex's rooms are hit and miss. Some are really nice and some are just too yee haw. Britnay's rooms are pretty, but all look the same. Kris's designs are kooky and weird, in a bad way. I'm excited to watch, but not if a lame half-ass designer wins again.
Oh my goodness! I want to live in Bex Hal's rooms. They are so fantastic! I also like Britnay's rooms. They are lively and very current.
I like Danielle, I'm sick of David he should have grown as a designer but he has not, I know his thing is color but it can be used better than what he is doing.
As a Texan, I disagree that Bex Hale’s lodges are too “yee haw”! Considering that her clients were wealthy Texas hunters, there is a real elegance and restraint to them, almost European hunting lodge, in comparison with the some of the over-the-top Texas themes down here. (We are awfully happy to be Texans…sometimes too exhuberant, for sure.)
I liked photos 2 & 3 of Meira’s 7 (?), not so much the rest of hers. (Nice to have an ocean to work with, I’m sure.)
Yuki’s seem discordant to me. I’m surprised that she would be “Fan Favorite”!
I’ve never watched the show, just got interested…from some of these warning comments from people who have seen it – well, I’m wondering…
Is this going to be about design and talent, really?
Yuki is a "fan favorite" because she lives in a wonderful community who loves, respects, and is so very proud of her!
I've always wondered if they cast people on the show just to cause problems. Just judging from their looks, Danielle, Hilary and Britney look like mean girls. I wonder if one of them is the "Cathy Hobbs" of this season. They could be total sweethearts, this is just my first impression. Stanley looks like the laid back surfer dude. Hard to say about the others. There are a lot of contemporary looks in the photos which is not my style. To me, Miera, Britney, and Bex look like the strongest contenders based on the photos. Rachel looks like the sweetheart of the gang. I could be all wrong, but sometimes you tell a lot by the look in someone's eyes. I can't wait to watch!
