  2. I agree with one of the above posters. David, I am a huge fan of yours, but you were were catty and over the top in this video. You can be critical without being mean or b*tchy. I am disappointed.

  3. One question: so much praise for the chevron fence, but I wonder what it looks like from the neighbor's side. Most cities have restrictions on the kind of fences you can put up between houses.
    That said, I'm finding this year one of the best of Design Star. All the designers have talent, and the judging seems fair based on what we also see on the screen.
    Playing well with others is always important in a job such as being a designer, and this seemed to be a major problem with two of the designers who were rightly sent home.

    I agree that David is leaning on the edge of arrogance rather than being observant and helpful. Not so charming…as he usually is. Glad to see that Vern seems less sharp tongued than last year.
    Does anyone else wonder if this truly is a competition? Or is designer already picked out….and given good partners, etc….and a better chance to shine.
    Hope not. So far things seem very fair.

  4. I still cannot believe that Karl didn't win Design Star last year!!! Meg's mini house looked like a garden shed. Justv sayin'.
