  1. I find it fascinating that the people who left first were exactly the right people; the prima donnas and the faux nice ones. Imagine the torture for the entire crew to have to work with Miera on an ongoing basis, always looking for a reason to be offended? Or dealing with Mr. Chris, who clearly was so amazingly phony.

It was hard to watch Rachel fall apart. She's from my home (Mpls) and her first couple of shows, did such wonderful work. It almost seemed like the enormity of a commitment to traveling, being away from her husband and little girl for an extended period of time got to her, and she slowly crumbled before our eyes.

    • I would agree with you that rachel's separation from especially her little girl did get to her and
although she was great it was best that she found that out now because if she did win and
had a show she would have been subject to separations at times and a very full commitment to
the network. It was heart wrenching to see her do that child's corner in the patio.

  2. The producers who select the candidates really should keep eye-appeal in mind. I cannot stand to watch Meg long enough to find out if she is a good designer–that grating voice, the no-neck dumpy body, it's just unappealing to watch.

    • Ellen,
Please be nice. Everyone doesn't have to look like a model TV. Look at Krammer on Seinfeld or George. They were awesome to watch and I adored the show for many years.

  3. My take on the show is to stay positive about all the designers. Brittney is the best designer, just look at her designs on this site. She has taste in her fashion clothing that she wears, which says alot about the designer. She also has the best design every week in my opinion. Her condo looked like something Vern would have designed. Watch Vern's face as he stares at the dining room she designed. He not only says, "I love this dining room," he also shows it on his beeming face. Danielle's room was nice, but she should have been able to find the right furniture to wanted for the dining room. I don't understand why they are so limited regarding where to shop. It wasn't Danielle's fault, she wanted a different table. At least they did not vote her off this week. She is a great designer with a nice warm sense with her design. I think they should have two winners, and show that allows both of them to design, argue about it, and deliver a design show each week.
