David on Ep 7: “What, Do We Live in a Forest? No.”

HGTV’s king of color pinpoints the biggest mistakes in the designers’ condos. Plus, who impressed him most during their live segment on The Talk and what it takes to be a good TV host.
Who did you connect with most on camera? Did you really hate Mikel’s paint color? Voice your opinion in the comments below.

Can anyone tell me the name of the three colors Brittany used?
Not sure who I connected with the most on camera -Mikel or Britney; however I connected the least with David's jacket in David's video on episode 7.
I love the yellow chairs and Britney design !
Did anyone notice Vern's out of the box leather loafers! I thought they looked super rustic and I'm definitely watching next week for a sequel! Way to go Vern!
Sorry to all the Britney fans. I think she is a one trick pony… if she puts one more big, bold graphic design in a room I might get sick. Danielle is more eclectic and I look forward to seeing what she does each week. The time management issue will be addressed as her confidence builds, I think she gets behind trying to make perfect decisons. I have stopped watching many shows on HGTV because they are do not show rooms decorated in a manner I would want to live in! I hope Danielle wins, I thinks she will be able to bring it!
I actually thought Hilary's room looked fantastic, except she just had two too many branches. But her overall use of red was brilliant. I really like Brittany's rooms, and I think the panel is way too hard on her for the camera personality thing. She can learn that. She has the looks and the knowledge – she's easy enough in front of the camera that she'll be fine as time goes on. I love Danielle's aesthetic, and she is super-talented. But if the least little thing goes wrong in her design plan, she loses it and completely freezes up, or worse, makes really poor decisions. Not being able to think on the fly is going to kill her when she's trying to crank out a TV show week after week. I think Brittany is the right choice this year.
David I voted for U love all your designs. So glad your host for DS thus season. Hillary designs are Awesome!!! I really enjoy her energy praying she wins!! I been trying to fall back in love with my family room and loved her design tips had a few pops if red after Tuesfay show Hillary design ideas helped me l loved my family room again and complete my project. With red wall Art and blending my reds together, thanks Hillary. Also play to do headboard for two if four Grandkids that now live with me. Thanks Hillary !!! Hope u win love your ideas
Danielle may not finish her designs but really, who can is the time period they allow! Every room she does BY HERSELF has neen tastefully done, she is classy in appearance and her diction is perfect for TV…Way to go….and she dresses very tasteful too!
I watch this show with the thought in mind that the winner should be someone I could watch over and over again. I would not be able to stand Hillari's "patter" for long and Britney's rooms look like they all stem from the same idea and seem to have the same color schemes over and over again. Danielle may, indeed, have time management issues (although when she has her own show, won't she be able to take the time needed to give the homeowner a finished product?) but she was the only contestant with a willingness to sacrifice winning a challenge to complete the room for the homeowner (when paired with Meira) and although she put her own aesthetic on the back burner for that challenge, she put the homeowner first. When her designs are complete, they rock! They look like magazine covers in depth and complexity. I would tire of Hillari and Britney long before I'd be bored with Danielle's rooms.
At first I liked the paint color. But when one of the judges, (the judge I am not a fan of, I think she’s Gwen) said it was “institutional, I started to get turned off on it.
