Sneak Peek: Episode 8
It’s down to the final three…only two episodes left until we find out who the next Design Star will be. On each season of the show, the designers are challenged to decorate a non-traditional structure. This year, it’s…yurts! That’s right — each contestant will take on a modern adaptation of the ancient round shelters used for centuries by Central Asian nomads. Who will succeed and who will fail miserably? Hiliary has a great sense of space and functionality. Her and Brittany should be in the final two. Brittany has a tendency to repeat herself, while we have seen Hilliary switch her designs up. The only problem I have is in the real world we don't see designers doing much of the real work when it comes to HGTV shows.
I can see Hilliary and Stanley doing a show "Urban Style" and having it work. Most of the shows currently on HGTV are really boring. Bring back Design On a Dime.
Hgtv is so careless! Hilari has an awesome personality and range as far as design goes and should totally win! It is obvious that they have been setting her up to go home! The editor sucks and cut the show to favor Danielle who is a pretentious bore and sucks at design! She has the smallest fan deck of colors ever, black brown, grey, blue, and has been totally playing out her mothers death for pity. if she were that effected why did she sign up?Total snoozer! I like Brittany but not enough to watch her for an hour! Maybe HGTV is nervous that Tea Party television just can't accept Hilari! If she is cut the network will regret it because she will be super successful anywhere else on television!
And what are Brittany's favor colors… yellow, gold, and teal. Hilari is the only current DS that has shown a range in a color palette.
Where is Britany in the preview. Only 3 contestants left and you leave one completely out of a preview episode? I am on team Britany and am disappointed that we really haven't been told much about her personally. Britany is amazing and should be season 7's winner.
This has been an awesome array of contestants for Design Star… Really like Brittany the best! Her confidence level and a sense of style really shows through. Danielle and Hilari are good, but just don't have that design quality that Brittany has… whoever wins will be great!
I totally agree that Haliri and Stanley could have an awesome show. Hey you never know because with God all things are possible. Both of them have a pleasant personality and work well togather. Both of them never complain they are always SMILING.
I'm glad I don't bite my nails – they'd be down to the quick. The producers have done a terrific job of building the excitement, drama, and anticipation. Bring it on!
Is Hilari holding a cell phone? I thought none of the contestants could have phones or computers that could be used for communications.
We could only communicate with carpenters or other designers.

Haliri keep the faith and remember God has a plan and a purpose for everything and I took your advice about adding pop of color through my home. Bold reds are returning to the design schemes in my home. You go girl and keep smiling. I really hope you win.
Still voting for Bex-most original designer based on her slideshow-the producers really run the show, not the professional designers-can't believe that the judges would have picked last year's winner, Meg, if they really had the final say. Design star is becoming just another one of those pathetic reality shows that have been filling up air time-no real talent required.
