Sneak Peek: Episode 8
It’s down to the final three…only two episodes left until we find out who the next Design Star will be. On each season of the show, the designers are challenged to decorate a non-traditional structure. This year, it’s…yurts! That’s right — each contestant will take on a modern adaptation of the ancient round shelters used for centuries by Central Asian nomads. Who will succeed and who will fail miserably? I do accept as true with all the ideas you’ve offered to your post. They are very convincing and can certainly work. Nonetheless, the posts are too short for novices. May you please prolong them a little from subsequent time? Thanks for the post.
I'm glad I'm not the only one that is peeved that there is NO mention of Britany in this 'preview' of Tuesday's show. WTH??? Did the editors forget there are THREE contestants????
I see that a lot of DS fans are furious about Britany not being in the previews!!! In looking at the filming of this season, usually, one of the contestants in the sneak peeks is going home!!! In the last preview, the segment made a big deal about Mikel not having enough info for The Talk, and he was sent home. The sneak peek prior displayed Stanley in the hardware store…etc. So, you see not having Britany in the previews might be a good thing!!!

To not make it so obvious, I think they've already chosen Brittany to have her own show, so they're not going to show much of her towards the end along with nit picking that she doesn't smile enough; it's all a ploy. If she isn't selected to have her own show, I'll be very surprised.
I completely agree!!! I think they are trying to shield her from critique!!!
I am going to keep saying this, no one else is blogging on their experiences every episode. Brittany won Design Star! HGTV is sponsoring her blog to give her exposure, they've been doing this since the season Emily Henderson won. At the end of their blogs it's like "surprise I won". I can't believe you guys fall for it.
I HOPE Britney doesnt go home this weak i hope she wins design star i vote fro her on fan vote on my ipad and computer to give her many votes you should vote for her to!

Hey DS fans!!! I know that we all have our favorites, but these designers have actually made some great friendships during the competition!!! As a matter of fact, Danielle is rooting for Britany on her Twitter page (as strange as that sounds)!!!!
Hillari is the best, she always knows how to "talk her way to the top"
She has the confidence needed to host her own TV show and the best go-getter attitude i've seen out of all the other designers.

I live in Colorado and would totally live in a yurt. In fact, I am considerating purchasing one from the Colorado Yurt Company. I think the designers are missing the opportunity to showcase the real mountain or southwestern lifestyle and design motif. All yurts are not on a beach. Am I wrong?
