Britany was voted the better designer by the fans. All I said was that I thought it was rigged and gave examples as to why. If this is painful for you, report it and they will remove it. I was under the impression that a blog is were you can tell how you feel. I didn't use any bad language, I merely expressed my opinion. Don't you think Danielle was chosen before the final episode?
I actually think that it was decided on their performance of that final challenge. I think Britany is an excellent designer but I think overall Danielle did a better job meeting her clients needs tonight.
I will never watch Danielle's show. Her voice is like fingernails running across a chalkboard. I HATE her voice "Hi guys!!!"
Danielle is a shopper not a designer. What a croc. But then I knew it would be between her and Hilari for obvious reasons.
I have to say that I am surprised. I had been expecting Britany to win for the last several weeks. But after watching the two presentations tonight I turned to my wife and said, 'I think it will be Danielle.' But both are very good. I'll watch Danielle's show to see how she does.
DANNIELLE ROOM WAS NOT ONLY FAMILY FRIENDLY, IT WAS KID FRIENDLY. A CHILD COULD WALK THROUGH THAT ROOM AND NOT BE AFRAID TO BREAK SOMETHING. The dream and the destiny was in the soul of the room.
Because it looked like a child's playroom and as if it was designed by a child.
A school classroom is also kid friendly and drab and sterile, just like Danielle's design tonight.
This finale was a crock. No matter what either designer did tonight, Danielle was preordained to win.

I hoped Brittany would win. I really don't care about the shopping theme, of course you have to find "stuff" to fill a room. I loved the photography idea, it's unique. Danielle didn't get a lot of stuff done in prior episodes and made really poor choices. Brittany always had great designs that really worked on camera. I'm disapointed. I don't watch any of Meg's shows, and I likely won't watch Danielle's. I did enjoy this Design Start season. I also really like Hilari and hope she will be featured again.
HGTV really messed this one up! Who the hell is gonna watch Danielle's show? Probably only the idiots who watch Meg's Great Room.
Meg is a very mediocre designer and not as good as Danielle. However Brittany
was a better designer. I knew that someone of color was destined to win this season before the first episode. And I was right.
This just made my night!!! So true!!!
I watched this for the first time with the wife this season. I wasn't impressed by Danielle at all. She was always behind schedule, and magically saving her butt at the last minute. She would be my choice to hire.
Hello HGTV an all the Fans out there… Why can't these two very talented finalists co -host a show…? A Picture Perfect Shop This Room! These ladies are both charismatic, talented, beautiful and have great chemistry together! I have been watching this show since day one and have never seem two competitors light up everyone around them, like they have done together!!! Just saying… I see a new twist on the the show! One that make quite a statement!!!! Anyone???
For a second there at the end, I actually thought they were going to call a tie.
