Actually that phrase differs geographically. I've heard it both ways, and several other variations of it, in different settings. Having said that. What does it really matter? She IS a great stylist. THAT'S what matters!

Agree. It seems this whole "All Star" show was to vindicate Hilari. Thought Dan deserved to win.
You know you have the same name as someone very famous…who is deceased…so seeing it gave me a bit of a start!

I disagree she talks way too much, brags, doesn't use proper grammar, and doesn't design for real people. An antique super expensive bed from India in the "yurt" challenge. I don't like anything she does. Those "orange" toad stools she contributed to the room last night?? Awful. I was super excited when she left the first time and lo & behold here she is back again.
I am done watching your Design Star shows.. You do not have a clue ! Dan is great and you people have booted him twice. I refuse to watch the Antonio show !!! You did it again, really because of a green wall, when Dan can't do a camera shot!!!
Do you mean 'Tom' can't do a camera shot? He does seem weak on the camera challenges.

I get a strong feeling it will be one of the ladies. I just don't think Tom has it. But then I thought Dan was going to win until tonight.
Okay, this is it – Hilari is the one who should be selected as the first DESIGN STAR ALL STAR. She has a fresh, youthful approach in her manner and yet a sofistication in her design. I love that she gives life to furniture pieces with names and gender. Personally, I am tired of "elegant" and "Dallas design" stuff. Perfect is not what we are in America right now so let's see more of eclectic togetherness. I want to see more outside the box designers – I like Meg's Great Room program – especially last week when she did their apartment. It was fresh and not "trying to be perfect". None of us is perfect, let's see how to design around that. Hilari has the freshness I want to see more of. I watch all of the design star programs. They are great. Paulette
Glad Hilari made it to the Finals lovvve her style.Dan just didn’t listen it’s good to stick to your Design, but when Your mentor mention a little something about color maybe you need to listen. Hilari you Go Girl. The Total Design Package Ms. Hilari.
I can't believe they let Dan go. It doesn't make any sense. Tom should have been the one to go. He's terrible on camera challenges and doesn't know how to edit himself on accessories.
