2. Tashica, you really have it, that was a dream bedroom, the concept was fabulous, I could see what you were trying to accomplish. The colors were so right on, not bland, very elegant. You're going to be a top rate designer, hang in there.

3. Tashica, I could really see you as one of the designers on the show. You have the skill, yhe have the look, you did a great job, you were really on to something with the bedroom design, I loved it, it was a hit not a miss just needed to be more polished.

I was looking forward to the new design challenge and then I tuned in….This is the worst attempt at design I have ever seen on a national television show….The sponsors should ask for their money back….in fact I have decided not to purchase anything that was advertised. The judges have a proven track record of good designs; it must be painful embarrasing for them to be associated with a show that is such low quality…I would not let one of those so called designers near my home.

   I met you at your sorority's valentine's day dance in Laurel in 2008. I spoke to you after you won the dance contest. So nice to see you on national tv. You got off to a bad start but I am confident you will shine, because you have the passion for design.

9. Tashica, you may feel intimidated but intimidation creates fear, which in turn creates procrastination. Go with your gut feeling, draft a strong plan, and go with it. Always allow yourself more time than necessary to execute. Next time, when given a specific task, prioritize, execute and get it done! We are rooting for you, so be encouraged, relax and give it all you've got!

10. Hello everyone!!! Had a beautiful and much needed rainstorm today. We sat outside and enjoyed the thunder, lightening, hail and wind. I must say that the comments posted for HGTV Design Star have been an interesting mix this year. While I do have my own personal favorite on the show, each person has brought a unique personality and perspective to the competition. Perhaps a particular design does not suit my taste, but each brings something to the table that promotes a healthy and animated debate among the bloggers. It pains me to see comments disintegrate into personal attacks rather than constructive design critiques but there is a great deal of passion as everyone forms their own opinion as to who should win this year. Every blogger has given me something to think about and I do appreciate all of you. Have a great night.
