  1. I won't watch Antonio or Design Star next year if they let this fiasco stand.
Give Dan a show or apologize to all of us.

  2. Sorry that I missed Antonio’s show last Sunday….NOT! I just couldn’t stand the thought of watching a tasteless, unwashed, smelly looking host on HGTV, a station that promotes good taste. He is an absolute miscast, the biggest HGTV blunder. On second thought, I really am not sorry for missing the show. It would only be a waste of my time.

  3. I also find him arrogant and abrasive. He has no design abilities. Dan's rooms were so much better. His rooms are what the general public would be looking for in a design. Who wants to watch a guy who won't wear his seatbelt ever, he has it clicked behind his seat, and says things like "now lets go get wasted". Is this really the new image HGTV wants for itself ? Antonio's living room had nowhere to sit except a hard bench, some hard stools and 2 very ugly chairs. But I guess if you are wasted you wouldn't notice. You lost my respect and my viewer loyalty.

  4. i just cannot believe that the judges thought antonio's rooms were better. His kitchen was good, but otherwise–makeover time for these poor owners! On the other hand, Dan;s rooms were beautifully and artistically done. What a talent! I would move into that house in a second! Dan won this challenge. Lonnie and Dan should have won last week with antonio losing out before the final. It's pretty disappointing. Judges, if you have been listening to yourself all these weeks you will come to the conclusion that dan should have won. Be honest with your audience. Tell them this is not really a contest, just a TV show, and don't get too involved with it because it's all just a show. I have lost respect for the whole concept (and I was a fanatic about this show).

  5. I am on the fence about Antonio's talent. He is definitely different and will appeal to some but not all.
I would be scared to let him design anything in my house but I admit I wanted to see what he would
    do in his.

  6. I like Antonio and congratulate him on breaking the stereotype mold when it comes to designers. Seems like everyone always believes that the queeny gay guys are the best. I don't believe that is true although David is very good and probably the exception. I just cannot stand him once he opens his mouth and sounds like a girl. Antonio will give the network a bit of variety and possibly get some masculine men to actually be interested in interior design.

  7. I like David too, in fact I watch all his shows, even the reruns. I also do not like. Antonio. His attitude and general "ain't never seen nothing like this". He's right, I won't be seeing it. I run the TV so as someone else said "just don't watch it". David keep color splashing.

  8. I do not like Antonio. Will not watch anything on HGTV by Antonio. Dan wasn't so great either. The lady from Texas was actually the most together of all the designers but was cheated out of a win because she was too much a Southern Lady to argue. Not necessary if you run the show!!
