Come Monday, I expect to see a picture of your newly painted digs!

I’m looking for exterior paint ideas. Can you help?
Hello,
I love the sage green wall color of the first picture. What is the color name or number, and paint brand?
Thanks!
Rose K.
what colour goes with walnut.i have walnut wood boarder and end tables and cofee table and bamboo window tretments.
I first have to say that i’m not usually a girl who uses white, but in that blue picture, what would be wrong with a little white square right where the Buddah head is. I think it would set it off perfectly.
Secondly, I usually love a brown room, but I’ve got to make a suggestion for brown bathroom. I saw the slightest hint of the most wonderful blue in the sink. I would pull out that blue with at least a few blue accents. But maybe I would even go with making the entire room blue. But thats just me. What does everyone else think?
I am a Realtor and Sales Manager of Chicago Realty Network. I always new that with great ideas of decorating homes will sell quicker. I am truly a fan of this show
These are beautiful. How do we post our staging, or redesign projects to others?
The green shade is Behr brand, and the name of the color is Asparagus. I asked the owner of the room a few days ago because it's the perfect shade for my living room.
Happy Painting!
Kris: I can recommend a few. Storm Stain by California Paints has a great natural palette inspired by nature. It’s an exterior stain, though, so if you’re only looking for paints I suggest reading Consumer Reports to find a good brand. You might check out the exterior house category in Rate My Space for inspiration.
Rose K: You’ll have to contact yo kelley yo, the owner of that room, to get the paint color specifics. I agree, it’s a lovely shade of green!

I’m reopening a small cafe and would like some
suggestions on painting the dining room. Thanks.
Need some suggestions on painting a living area that open up into a sunroom. The living area has no natural light but the sunroom has plenty. I was wanting to paint warm colors, browns, reds, plus I am wanting to paint the ceilings in both rooms. I want something dramatic. I have brown leather furniture in the living area and blond hardwood floors. The sun room has mainly beige very neutral flooring and the furniture will more than likely be redone in the future to match.
Why am SOOO not surprised to see one of ChampagneChic’s pics on here! Go check out ALL of their PERFECT designs on Rate My Space! Check mine out too while you’re there!

It is very small master bedroom and would love to have help in picking out the right color for this room. Right now I have a butterscotch pudding color on the walls. Please any ideas would be great.

The China cabinet has a theme of a China village painted on it with colors of brown and gold and with drooping green trees.
I am repainting a very dark blue room. I put a coat of primer on but the blue is just coming right through. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can use to cover a very dark blue on cement block walls.
Tahnk you so much.
I have recently remarried and have inherited 2 very blue (dark) loveseats that were new and I have green as in dark lime green carpet with dark tan walls. What can I do to blend all this in?? I am at a complete loss here. I can repaint but what colors would I use and I also have a dining room adjacent to the living room. Does Navy blue furniture match with green carpet?? I mean like moss green carpet. I also have a stone fireplace.
I am completely lost. Please help me.

i just got a new king size off white fabric bed, i painted the back wall brown, the bedding is brown, white blue and aqua paisley, very pale in color. the 3 other walls are malted milk brown with all moldings the same color in semi gloss. the ceiling is a flat off whute. the furniture is cappucinno and the drapes are white matching the headboard. the room is bland, how do i spice it up. should i repaint…
I read what Andrea of Sept. wrote about putting some what in behind the blue figure. I feel it looks good like it is. Reason because the head of the statue has a lot of movement in it texture not in the feel but in the carving which says something . havent you ever saw a room that was completely white but the textures and shapes caused the room to stand out to me that is what you did. putting the white square in the back of the head would defocus you from the white vases that are on the side of it and the white what it appears to be is a coral object on the side of it. good job.
the chocolate brown walls would work very well if you would not of had those towels hanging their and the toothe brush holder and the white mirror which draws your eyes away from the sink and make the brown wall go some what empty. you should have blue accents such as yours towels soft blue with creamy satin stripe border and the mirror to be a steel grey which holds a hue of blue in it giving some life to the brown wall and capturing the blue thats in the sink. But what do I know I am just a nurse should have been a designer cant afford it now just enjoying the feed back of the Blog
I love the green with black and white accents. And I think the brown looks great with the white mirror. I would not want to see it with blue. Even though it’s currently trendy I’m not a fan of blue with brown except in very small doses.
I have low ceilings in my house , how do I paint or add moldings to make them to look higher.
can you help me i got walnut wooden blinds for my kitchen and havegfreen kitchen units and i am lookingf for a shade of green to gfo with it
I just finished repainting my kitchen in a light sage for the walls and a light cream for the cabinets. My kitchen had not been redone for at least 30 years. It had dark paneled walls and dark cabinets. Now it is light and airy and looks much larger. It was not design on a dime or even design on a nickel. I actually spent a total of $22 dollars. One color paint was left over from sister’s living room, other was left over from brother’s ceiling! I actually spent the $22 dollars on a new lamp for kitchen and on accessories kitchen towels with designs that carried on my two colors along with taupe, burgundy and hunter green turned out great!!
I have A large bedroom with a wall of windows the wall of windows is Taupe and the other 3 three are a capucciono colored…what could be a good complmentary color to brighten it up ???

I need some suggestions for paint colors in my living room. My husband and I recently purchased a home with every room painted an off white color. The carpet throughout the house is a light tan. We have a large dark brown leather sectional in the living room. We want to add some color to the room by painting the walls. I would even like to have one wall as an accent wall by using a different, complimentary color. Unfortunately, I do not know what colors would help make the room look “great”. What are some color suggestions?
We recently painted our bedroom a soft shade of blue. Any suggestions on coordinating colors for bedding, drapes, etc?
I have 2 basement rooms that are now painted a mint green. The top of the walls are the mint green and the bottom is brown paneling. My furniture is tan. What color could I paint the paneling that would go well with the mint green. Or if you know of two other colors I could brighten the rooms up with that would go with the furniture.
I am having a color delimma. My kitchen overlooks out my den. So I’m trying to paing an accent wall in my den to help bring out some of the red decor that I have in my kitchen and den. The wall we’re trying to paint in the den is the wall with the fireplace on it. The fireplace wall also stands out from the two walls on either side. My first attemp was to just paint the wall containing the fireplace. But it just doesn’t pop, especially since we painted it Bravado Red (Sherman Williams), and the accents in my den and kitchen are a deeper red. My next attempt would be to paint the other two walls and not the fireplace wall. Please help, I’ll wait to hear back before I begin again.
Thanks,
Sherice

Our sofa, loveseat and la-z boy is of fabric and the color is navy blue. We actually want to have the look of modern-retro. Please help us pick the best color for our living room…
