What happens when you combine quotidian curiosities with goat milk and glycerin? Why, Luis Caicedo’s handmade Soap Opera soaps, of course! I love the quirkiness of the legs and the soap yo-yo. Could it be the new soap-on-a-rope?

The Colombian self-taught artist now lives in New York City, and has a whole host of other curiosities for the home, including amoeba serving pieces, foldable rubber vases and velvet-backed rubber pillows, which are probably better for looks than part of a pillow fight.
