Have you ever loved a home so much you couldn’t bear to part with it or see it drastically changed? Would you rather see it completely uprooted and transported to some distant location rather than see it bulldozed to the ground? That’s exactly what Robert Venturi and Denise Scott Brown are doing to the Lieb House. In order to save it from demolition, Venturi and Scott Brown are relocating the historic house from Barnegat Light, NJ to Glen Cove, NY on Long Island…via barge!

That’s right – the Lieb House will actually be floating up the East River on its long journey from New Jersey to Long Island Sound.

It honestly bothers me that every year another white family wins the HGTV dream home. i've never seen a black family win, or any other race at that. Is HGTV racist?
