Leslie and I had such a great time at High Point Furniture Market. We still have a ton of new designers, furniture and unique accessories to show you, but wanted to give you a quick wrap-up of our favorite finds this week.
The Calvin chair from The Candice Olson Collection is gorgeous. Get more details on her line here.
The Paula Deen Home Collection has eclectic, stylish funiture pieces, including this gorgeous cabinet. Click here for detail on the cabinet and more.
Don’t miss our vlog about the most gorgeous pillows that are created by couture seamstresses and our interview with Angelo Surmelis. Plus, you can catch all our High Point coverage here.
A lot more to come. Stay tuned.

we are downsizing into an apartment and need any information on how to decorate in french country blue and white with other colors for interest. any info would be appreciated. thank ou
I love the French country blue and white color scheme. Personally, I don’t think it can ever go out of style. Some of the old issues of Traditional Home magazine has shown some stunning rooms using this palette. What’s great about this color scheme is that you can dress it up or down: country or formal, painted or light stained distressed woods or highly polished dark stains on furnishings. You can add yellow or red as an accent or add something unexpected like fuschia pink. Gold, polished brass, or polished nickel finishes go equally well. You can find some great bargains on small scale furnishings at consignment shops and on craigslist. I have found some great furnishings for a “song” and I’ve painted, refinished, added marble tops – all sorts of things that look great, have character, patina, and don’t look mass produced. I have a small guest room that I’ve decorated in blue and white toile. Our local library has some great books showcasing French country decor with great photos. I have found this a great resource for ideas. Good luck with your move!
I live in the suburbs of L.A.and want to buy traditional looking furniture for my formal living room and dinning room. Where can I shop?
I would like to know when and where can I get tickets for the furniture show next year. We’re planning on downsizing and would like to get some new and fresh ideas for a loft.
I just bought another condo and I would like to update the kitchen which is very small. It is going to be a real challenge to make it look good and be functional at the same time.
My boss and I run a furntiure store.
I have worked for him about ten years. In the past he went to High Point each year.
I have been unable to organize my home office ever since my Mom passed away in March 2007, and I inherited boxes of her medical paperwork and legal paperwork, because I am the Executrix of her Estate. I need help desperately to organize my small spare room. Thank you.
Leslie, could you or someone tell me where I can purchase Candice Olson furniture. I just love it. I live in River Hills, Wisconsin.

They really are beautiful. Thank you for all the info and Angelo V-Logs. The man just makes me smile. Saw some of his line on his blog, I want so much and I am having a difficult time believing how reasonable it is. Keep the info coming!

You can go the 'Store Locator' and use the drop down menu to enter Wisconsin and then it will give you a choice of cities in your state so you can see which ones are closer to you.
Hope this helps!

Living the Dream!
Thank you for the updates. I usually go but opted out this year. It’s always fun to see what’s going on. Didn’t know that Angelo was there. Great Vids.
That site has great ideas and very resourceful in terms of furniture inventions. it could save more space in your house.I love
this! It's the perfect mix of modern and natural – the rich stone hues meeting the clear glass to work so well with all kinds of
style. I like to mix and match my furniture and decor, and this look will work seamlessly with my matched, mismatched style.
