Decals and Family Photos

I’m always racking my brain for new way to display photos of kids. This week I’m thinking decals!  Loxii.com has beautiful, easy-to-apply decals.  I love these almost cartoonish old-timey picture frames. They would look great in a collage with real black-and-white photos. Ikea has something similar — picture frame stickers without the silhouettes.decal-picture-frames

On this week’s Design Star, Antonio turned a photo of a 5-year-old boy into an almost life-size wall decal. He placed the decal so that it looks like the boy is holding up the TV.  It would be neat to incorporate something like that into a growth chart.

Take a look at this video; Angelo Surmelis uses wall decals as a backdrop for black-and-white-photos set in plain white frames. It’s fun, yet very classy.

  6. I do not like your line up as well as I did in the past. The only program i will watch is Paul James. For all your other programs I turn the station on the TV. You used to have Kohl gardening, Glass gardening, etc. You have changed your format, which I will not watch. 10. I loved sensible chic. Where did that go. And by the way how many house hunters do you need to run. For those of us who work during the day, why can't you run some of the morning line up in the evening.

  11. I agree that House Hunters is on WAY TOO MUCH!

  12. I'm glad to see that others agree HGTV is a little oversaturated with House Hunters episodes. Also, is there really a large audience for a steady stream of Haul'n House?
