  2. Hi, I'm painting my entry, hallway, and an adjoining wall that's part of the kitchen – a medium dark taupe/gray I like it but I'm sure many will give me grief over it being dark oh well ! My question is what to do about base boards and doors & door trim ? Do I everything in the new color or do I keep all of them white ? I sort of jumped in and don't want to do re-do's if possible. I'm not trying to be hip but do want know if there's a new trend towards painting all one color and not make the trim/doors/baseboards stand out in white . . . ???
