To me, black and white lacks imagination. I do like black and white photos, but furniture…not so much. It's way to dark and uninspiring. Give me some color anyday.

Fantastic! The proportion and scale of every element are perfect. Even though high in contrast the flawless balance is achieved by the beautiful and rich textures. Very sophisticated but intimate at the same time.

black and white is classic. Black and white will never grow old. I dissagree with some of the reviews on here becacuse although it may lack color you can always add a single color or two. Black white and a flare of red…black, white and yellow or pink or green. Just about any color will go with whatever occasion or season! Love it!
Classy and romantic, a bit formal but I love the black & white! Black and white is always in and especially popular right now . Recently redecorated our master bedroom in black & white and for the first time in years my husband loves the look and now my teen age grand daughter wants to do her bedroom in black & white.

I'm not impressed, the room looks like its floating,and whats with the shoes. I've used Blk-n-White in rooms in the past, but always lacking imagination. To each his own.
I think the black and white are very elegant- it is only lacking one small piece of furniture- like a small side table for example and this piece would be done in red- that is where the small but distinct color would come in.
I like what is put together but, the gold mirror on the wall doesn't look right. I think I would put silver in its place and same with the light, silver there too.
I adore the black and white concept. I do agree with one of the previous comments about the gold mirror and chandelier since I am not a fan of gold, but because of the furniture style the gold does work and is that one color that pops out. I have always been drawn to the black and white color pallet due to its elegance, this is why I have chosen to transform my master bedroom using these colors but with a traditional/contemporary style and a few softer tones to make the room feel warmer. I am a fan of the old Hollywood styles.
