This week we have a very special item to give away, straight from HGTV’s Dream Home. When the Dream Home special first aired in January, the folks over on the Dream Home blog went nuts for the wrap that host Monica Pedersen wore. Our HGTV Super Fan, Gail, called Monica to let her know how much everyone loved her wrap and Monica offered to give it away to one lucky blog reader.

I would go to the wonderful store that Monica visited and get a whole new Southwestern outfit – cowboy boots, a denim shirt, and one of the wonderful shawls they have. Some Native American turquise and sterling jewelry would top it off.
I would wear my jeans that I got for Christmas and buy a brand new top for the occasion. Something that would match the wrap, supposing I would be lucky enough to win that, also it is a great color on me.
*In addition to the gorgeous turquoise wrap, I would certainly wear some comfortable shoes that I could continually jump up and down in! I would be soooo excited that I would find it difficult to even stand still in heels!
The entire package is amazing and beyond a dream come true! I never win anything but could not pass up a chance to enter for this extraordinary home.

When I win the 2010 Dream Home, I will be wearing an outfit especially made to compliment the southwest flavor and accentuate my assets (the key to the door). Of course, Monica's wrap will be a wonderful accessory to the entire ensemble.
I could only hope that HGTV shows up at my door with Monica's beautiful wrap in one hand and the keys to the Dream Home in the other hand. Once again, hope is a gift that we all share.
When I WIN the 2010 HGTV Dream Home and the Turquoise Wrap from Monica, I plan to dress in full Native American Regalia in colors of the Sandia Mountains High Desert (purples, pinks, corals, blue and greens), my designer jeans, turquoise velvet top, my finest Navajo Turquoise, Sandcast Sterling, Sleeping Beauty Turquoise, Silver Concha Belt and my Squash Blossom Necklace that were given to me by my Dine Navajo relatives which will be blessed. All my guests will be given special pieces of turquoise to protect and keep them beautiful. We would have sand paintings in the front yard to welcome our guests. We would have spiny cactus margueritas, fabulous Green Chile Chicken Burritos with native chilis. We would have Spanish and Native American music while watching the beautiful sunset in my 2010 Dream Home. This is a promise!

Although, I am not a native american, I do have family members that are. If I were the lucky person to win the Dream Home I'd wear the colors of the evening skies over Albuquerque. There are beautiful reds and oranges and yellows. The sunsets in the South West are truly amazing. They don't call it the land of enchantment for nothing. Then again, I'd probably be so nervous I'd need help deciding what to wear. Good Luck To All!
I forgot there were shades of blue in the skies there as well. It is the place of my dreams. And since it is near my son and grandchildren, it would be extra special. I have hiked in the Sandia Mountains and there is truly nothing like it. Sunset at the crest is absolutely amazing. I always hate to leave there when we visit. If I had one wish it would be to live there.
I would dress in the style Monica did for the Dream Home special. Her outfit was timeless, not over-dressed, in a reflection of the home. A hint of "desert chic" was the look she was going for…she hit the nail right on the head with this attire! That is how I would dress also, if I won. And yes, I would incorporate that beautiful turquoise wrap into my outfit as well, a color that looks nice on true blondes.
As a native New Mexican, living in Santa Fe, I wouldn't have to move too far if I won the 2010 Dream Home. Sandia Park is practically in my back yard (60 miles south). To celebrate winning the Dream Home I would wear jeans, western boots, a black leather belt with silver and turquoise Conchas which was bartered for, a black blouse with a turquoise necklace (also bartered for) and the beautiful turquoise wrap donated by Monica Pedersen. I'm so excited.
I would wear my regular clothes!! I'm a jeans and Tshirt gal!!! I would not change myself, but am nervous about moving out west!! Have lived in the south all my life, and love the area I am in now. However, the outside area looks SO beautiful, it seems hard to resist.
I would also add: the beautiful jewelry Linda chose to display in the Master Bathroom. Can’t wait to put them on!!
To Celebrate winning the HGTV Dream Home 2010, I would something that includes a wide belt. The belt would have attachments on it, 3-4 would be a plus! Reason, My outfit would have to accomindate a wheelchair, and at least 2 oxygen tanks! To keep Me from falling down, and help Me to keep breathing because I've just won the 2010 Dream Home from HGTV! On top of My beautiful outfit with wheelchair and oxygen tanks in toll would be My Turquoise Wrap, thanks to Monica! Please forgive any typing and spelling errors. I did rush to enter. Thank You
If I won the 2010 Dream Home, I would certainly wear something southwestern. maybe a swirly skirt, some fantastic sandals and lots of turquoise! Turquoise is a favorite of mine and I would certainly wear lots of jewelry in my favorite color!
When I win the HGTV Dream home I will celebrate the occasion by wearing my very simple little black dress from gap and my black mid-calf cowboy boots. I'll wear my hair down; it will be straight with a little bit of volume. I'll also wear my spiral red earrings for a little sparkle and my metal sun bracelet that has a touch of blues and greens. And finally, the turquoise wrap will complete my look by giving my outfit a fresh splash of color.
If I won the HGTV Dream Home what would I wear? We I would have to say jeans, boots and the turquoise jewelry that I purchased while vacationing in Santa Fe.

Margaritas will be part of the celebration!!! My husband loves this house and location as much as I do.

I would wear a loose fitting long turquoise knitted sweater that has big butterfly sleeves with a pair black slim fitting jeans and of course some long black boots… and to add to the outfit a pair big long earrings with a touch of turquoise stone with a matching bracelet and a beautiful oversize butterfly ring… with a HUGE Colgate smile on my face!!!
I would wear a jump suit with 5" wedge dress sandals. The jumpsuit would be great for when I freak out and start jumping all over the place in excitement and the wedge sandals are for height (because I'm short). lol.
I would wear a long black spring dress to coordinate with the turquoise wrap with cute sandals and accessories to match
If I were at the reveal, I would not necessarily be as concerned with my clothes as much as wishing my mom were there to celebrate with me. I grew up in New Mexico, in an adobe home that was about 100 years old. My mother was very much an artist and renaissance woman. This home reminds me of her style and of New Mexico. The designer did a beautiful job. I lost my mother at the tender age of 8, but she is with me always. So I would wear her sand cast turquoise bracelet just so she knows, where ever she is, that I know she is with me. Now as for the clothes, I have a skirt from Nine West that is my favorite and boots and a cream or black shirt. Beautiful job HGTV and nice shawl Monica.

I would wear the beautiful turquoise wrap if I were fortunate enough to win it. Moving to Sandia Park, New Mexico will be the beginning of a new life for me and an opportunity for healing. I will be clothed in much appreciation, joy, gratitude, etc. What a blessing this will be!
WHEN I GET THE NEWS THAT I WON THE WRAP, I WOULD WEAR IT OVER A BEAUTIFUL DARK ORANGE SH0RT- SLEEVED SHIRT WITH SILVER AND TURQUOISE NECKLACE AND EARRINGS AND WHITE JEANS AS I LOVE COLOR. SINCE I HAVE NEVER WON ANYTHING, THIS WOULD BE A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO DRESS UP FOR THIS OCCASION.
First of all, I would like to thank with all of my heart the whole HGTV TEAM for making this dream possible for sooo many of us. EVERYTHING, ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING, INVOLVING THIS HOME IS MAGNIFICENT!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU! Now, if it's God's will and I am the blessed person to win this work of art with its amazing sorroundings, I would wear black pants, blouse and heels, my turquoise and silver jewelry, accompanied of course, with the turqoise wrap. I like to keep it simple, but yet elegant. After the filming I would give back the wrap to Monica. It looks fabulous on her and I remember reading that there were no more, when she went back to the shop. So it would give me great pleasure to give it back to her. Whatever I choose to wear, my 20something year old daughters would veto my choice and pick something different for me to wear. That's okay, they have good taste.
