This week we have a very special item to give away, straight from HGTV’s Dream Home. When the Dream Home special first aired in January, the folks over on the Dream Home blog went nuts for the wrap that host Monica Pedersen wore. Our HGTV Super Fan, Gail, called Monica to let her know how much everyone loved her wrap and Monica offered to give it away to one lucky blog reader.

I will wear a sundress and sandals that will be complimented by the lovely turquoise wrap.
New Mexico has great style and is all about creativity, color, inspiration, grounded with organic fabrics rich in culture which the native americans use. I Monica had it so right when she wore her simple black turtleneck and slacks highlighted by the vibrant turquoise wrap which signifies the stone, and beautiful sky which gives serenity, energy, and spirituality. The silver jewelry she wore brought in the artistians flair which are so present in New Mexico. What would I wear? Probably something very similiar in my admiration to New Mexico's arts and history. Something very simple with my silver bracelet and silver beads I've purchased from New Mexico, with a wrap rich in color. I live in California now, but my hopes are to return to New Mexico someday where my family was born and raised.
What would i wear? Hmmmm, this is a toughy, i would wear my best looking summer outfit and bring only summer clothes…!! Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha, hope someone from PA wins, jk jk jk, whoever wins hope you will enjoy the house very much so…
If i won I would wear….AGH…I would have to go shopping! probably something turquoise of course…id have to get my two babies and hubby something great to wear too!
If I won the 2010 Dream house, I would wear a pair of jeans, a simple cute white top, with some tourqiose jewerly and a pair of cowboy boots.
I'd wear Monica's beautiful wrap, big turquoise earrings to match, jeans, and cowboy boots…I think I'd match my new house very well!
what would i wear? yes i did love monica's wrap so i would wear that with jeans and tank top and my husband by my side. i do know it's very unlikely that we would win something of this magnitude but, i would be so excited, on cloud 9 and actually, i would think i was dreaming. so many struggles would come to an end and we could celebrate with our family. still wishing, dreaming and hopeful. thank you hgtv for for all the wonderful shows and hints . linda in minnesota

When I win the HGTV 2010 dream home, I will be wearing the biggest smile ever and my rattlesnake protection cowboy boots, of course!
My favorite item to wear if I won the Dream Home would be the Kokopelli jacket we bought during a visit to the Grand Canyon. Kokopelli loves music, dancing and spreading joy, flutes and fertility. What could be better for celebrating winning such a magnificent house?

What would i wear if I won—– If they came to my house to tell me I won and it was late I would probably be in my Pj's … Now on the other hand if you want to know what i would wear to the new house .—
Of course I would be wearing new clothes to go with my new house… What else would you expect…… But of course it would go with the wrap that i won too , the wrap is one of my colors I look good in . .

I would wear chocolate with a turquoise necklace and silver male lion earrings. I also would wear my great boots which are not high, but very fashionable. I would be wearing a huge smile on my face and jumping up and down with enthusiasm and joy!!!! I would be feeling blessed and humbled and would invite lots of people for dinner as I love to cook! The thought of winning makes me smile. Just the thought sends shivers down my spine. I would be laughing and crying at the same time!

If I would win the dream home, it would be a miracle! You see, no one ever comes over here to Hawaii to give us anything to win. Everyone thinks we are "lucky ' to live here, why would we need anything else? Anyway, IF i ever won the dream house, I would wear something that dosent have alot of print or colors in it. I heard when you are on TV, you should wear solid colors no prints! I love bright colors so that would be easy, especially something in a complimenting color to go with the turquoise wrap.
In fact, even if I didn’t win the Dream Home, I would still wear an extremely awesome “I LOVE (heart) HGTV” t-shirt! HGTV has inspired me in so many ways! I have totally remodeled my home with ideas I derived from watching HGTV and browsing HGTV.com! Thanks for the inspiration HGTV!!

Whatever I chose to wear, if I were to win, my 20 something year-old daughters would veto my selection and choose something different for the occasion. That would be OK. I probably couldn't think straight to make a choice of clothing if I were to win.
Santa Fe is peaceful, full of joy and a place that nurtures the creativity of the native people. This has been a place of solitude and time for us to unwind on vacations for many years. The wrap is lovely and reminds me of the native indians and their love of natural beauty. faancy@aol.com

Okay ~ I would wear my lucky ol' cowboy boots for my Dream Home Winner's Visit ! They are soooo comfy, and have turquoise and silver accents, how coincidental is THAT !! They also come in a handy-dandy Luchese boot carry bag, so I can take them with me on the flight to NM !!! AND the heels won't damage those stunning Dream Home floors !
When I win "The Dream Home" I will definitely wear the beautiful turquoise wrap! I think I would try to match Monica. She looked Fabulous! Southwestern style is so rich with culture, down to earth, with colors that compliment the desert environment. The Land of Enchantment indeed!
If I won the dream house i would be so excited i can' t even tell you. New Mexico is where i dream of living so that i can open up a health and wellness center. Its where i have always wanted to live and i dream about it all the time. So i would wear my brown long summer dress that has detailed beads that remind me of out west and my brown flip flop heels. To match the dress i would have to wear some of my stone jewelry as i wear it a lot it's something that grounds me. The wrap of course would be a great bonus as its one of my favorite colors.
As it is still very chilly in Sandia Park I think I would wear my favorite jeans which were a Christmas gift from my husband and kids, a cream blouse, cowboy boots and top it off with Monica's lovely wrap =)

If I won the dream home I would cry. My mom and grandmother live there and I have been up in the northwest for the last seven years, wanting to go home. Im 7 months pregnant and alone, so to be close to my family would be a dream come true for me and my baby girl…I would have to say at this point, I would wear anything that fits! But would love to wear some thing yellow (yellow dress/mu mu, perhaps) to signify my love for the state, the true land of enchantment.

When I win the HGTV Dream Home, I will be wearing comfortable, yet stylish clothing, and the biggest smile on the planet!! I will also have the most wonderful arm trinket – my beloved fiance holding my hand!!

That is not too hard to answer; I would wear no shoes (bare feet), light colored short sleeved top, and a nice loose pair of capris' to relax in!
It sort of depends on how cold it is at the time :<) My ideal outfit in the cold is a funky sweater with pants that have some sort of feature that makes them stand out rather than boring jeans…leggings with sequins or possibly snaps up the side
I would pair it with a fabulous chunky beaded necklace with some unassuming earrings…balanced out with a ring or bracelet.
Now if it is nice weather, I will wear an Anthropology or Free People skirt with a fun short-sleeved shirt, and jewelry that accents it along with fun flats or flip-flops.

I saw a cute skirt at Anthropologie a few weeks ago — short, flouncy, and white with a pattern of black running horses on it. It's not my style (I'm too old and don't have the figure for it!) but it sounds like it would be perfect for you — great choice for the southwest, and it would look great with turquoise!
I would wear the cross I wore to the Compassionate Mandala ceremonies held at my church. It was an amazing interfaith event to celebrate him winning an award from Congress and it was wonderful to see all faiths come together to learn and share. We had an interfaith concert as well with many famous singers and the Dalai Lamas monks. I will never forget it.
It was a benchmark in my faith and if I win it will be a testament to God for He makes all things possible.

If I won the dream house it would indeed be a dream come true! My mom and I have not owned a home in years. We lost our home when I was growing up and my dad had Milenoma cancer which, eventually took him from us as well as our home… Since then, my mom and I have been in various rentals for years which we call each one home and do the best to make it our own…. My husband also lost his father at the age of six and also has been in many rentals…. I would wear dark brown outfit to compliment the contempory and southwest stylings of the home. This would highlight the beautiful turqoise wrap and would wear turquoise from native americans to highlight it.
I would buy myself a new pair of blue jeans (I only own 2 pair black) and try to find a new comfy white cotton baggy tee shirt, I will pass on that gorgeous wrap in hopes of winning the house(no way would I win both)I'm all about being comfortable as I tour our new winter home….I have to keep our home in Michigan's Upper Peninsula until our business sells in 2011 and we can retire and for a place to stay when we visit our grandchildren

The wrap would be great to save for chilly evenings, but with spring's warmer days, a simple top and longer skirt of southwest style, maybe topping with a short jacket … nothing to distract from the beauty of this 'work of art' that sits on Turquoise Trail.
Wow! The thought of winning the beautiful house and wrap would be so needed right now,I probably would wear something casual, comfortable and turquoise, Jeans,sandals, crisp white shirt, turquois and silver jewelry. I can't imagine this dream! You may have to pick me up off the floor!
Well if I found out I won, I would plummage throught the clearance racks immeaditely in seach of the perfect sun dress- something colorful but casual – something simplistically sophisticate that allowed me to move with ease and perhaps more importantly something that I could get off with one shrug of the shoulder – b/c as soon as I could shut out all visitors and close the doors to my new home I would dash for the bathroom for a hot soak in that beautiful oasis of a bath !! Can't wait.
