Picture your dream bedroom. Do you hear the gentle lapping of waves in the background? Is the color palette a combination of serene blue and green mixed with lush cream bedding? Oh, and does it happen to sit in the middle of a pool?

Thanks to the Facebook page, join if you want this as your bedroom, we can’t stop thinking about the many ways we would fall in wearing pajamas.
What do you think? Fabulous or just plain crazy?

this is plain crazy – you could drown!
the pool is only a few feet deep. a toddler would drown but not an adult of around anyone above the age of 10. second of all, you should think about what u wanna buy. if it's something like that room, then u should think "can i swim" before u buy it. no one's forcing u to have it
Just plain crazy, but very, very cool!
It looks like a fantasy – hard to believe it's real. I'm not sure I would sleep well in a room that must be damp, smells like chlorine, and sounds like an echo chamber. Not at all warm and cozy.
This is pretty crazy, but I have to wonder if all that humidity would help my sinus problems some.
horrible too edgy!
Would be pretty nice if the space had some type of theme not like you just popped up a center stage with a bed on it … it can be a starting point for a very interesting magical room
Yuck! So damp/humid! It's pretty, to look at, though.
thats the coolest thing i've ever seen i sort of love it lol
same here
All I can think when I see this is ECHO… Echo… echo… echo…. But it definitely does look cool.
exactly
Hey I wouldn't say "No" if someone wanted to build it for me ;}.
I don't think so….I mean I love to swim and all but…for one the bed will get wet and what about the electrical outlets for the TV and Lamps?……SHOCKING !! Where does that walkway lead to? ANd, I don't see any place to hang your towels. OTHER than that, if you took the bed and all the other things out of there and put in a little bar area with cold drinks now that would be worth hanging out at!
theats just some MINOR techicalities
hahahah this is amazing i would love to sleep here
I think this is unique to say the least. Most would not get very much sleep thinking they may fall into the water. Maybe this would just be a great place to hang out when sleeping is not an option. ..This would be a nice getaway. Not practical for sleep though unless one of you is staying awake. Reminds me of a western movie with someone taking their watch while others sleep..Prettly though. Love the colors.
Ever been to an indoor pool? They're humid and reek of chlorine. This room is pretty, but I can't imagine actually sleeping there.
My dream bedroom has a slide from a french door into an outdoor pool, and a slide off the rooftop garden and jacuzzi area, I would have one of thoes tent blow up covers for the colder months so I could enjoy it year round!
what if it was a saltwater pool? no chlorine smell! and what about ventilation?
what if there was a wave machine, so that we'd have wave sounds… perhaps less echoing? what is the ceiling made of? to minimize echoing?
of course the electric is insulated and without SHOCK value (tee hee)
humidity? hmmm…. again… ventilation?
if the water is warm the room will be warm.
i love it.
and imagine how healthy i'll be with no excuse not to get exercise into my schedule!
CRAZY! Not only would I fall in with my jammiejams on, but I'd probably take some of those expensive looking electrical items with me. No thanks.
I do not see the appeal of sleeping in a room such a this. I agree with the above comments. The room would have an eccho and would lack comfort and serenity.
If you're rich enough to do that, you're going to do it RIGHT. Sound absorption, humidity control, insulated electrical…and don't you guys know there's more than just chlorine for sanitizing your pool? Bromine is great, saltwater even better, both have no smell.
OMG I want this room Please, Please,Please,Please, Please I love it, I love it, I love it..
SERIOUSLY? My husband is a designer and when I showed him this picture his first comment was "you get of bed in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, hmm. Just plain crazy".
very out of the box design and it is awesome, and I would love to sleep here, and it would be a most restful sleep, like floating on the water.
While I LOVE the water, I know this would get old in about 2 minutes. Smelling the chlorine and the dampness. Let's not even start talking about what it would do to my hair… I would have to wear a hat all of the time because the humidity would be murderous on my hairdo! As for the practicality of it… getting up in the middle of the night or even tossing and turning in your sleep… no wham!, but rather a SPLASH and lots of gurgling. uh… no thanks!
Mmmm………NO. Looks like a scene out of an old James Bond movie or something.
Hope you don't sleep walk!
Awesome, but wouldn't fly in CA earthquake country!
Interesting….and good thoughts and comments. I've had some pretty good naps by the pool. But this would be pretty expensive when you change your mind and want to take out the island. What I would probably do instead is just have my bed on a "boat" floating in there. It's nice to sleep on a boat too! Then when the novelity wears off, just pull the boat out, take it to the lake, and now you have a nice pool again.
This is the most creative, soothing and spiritual design I've ever encountered. As far as all of the chlorine and dampness comments go, our pool is salt water and vented so it doesn't have any odor or dampness issues. My only worry is our cats love to drink from it and the lapping as they got up in the middle of the night for a drink right beside the bed might constantly wake us up
. Oh well, a small price to pay for such such an incredible environment.
What the hell is the matter with you people!!! I love this room, how much it cost and how do I join?
could someone please tell me if this is a real room? or is it just painted?
Hmm.. I think it'd be better if the platform moved to the back wall, extended about ten feet and then half of the remaining space was a pool and the other half a walkway around the room, leading to the door and a seating areas.
Genius! I love it! Could you imagine how loud the sex would be?! Hahaha!
Personally, I think it is pretty cool. Yeah, there are some MINOR problems, but nothing that can't be dealt with. I actually don't mind falling in. I always loved swimming. It's pretty original and originality is what people crave for these days. I would actually like to have that room. It seems fun and new. But that's just me. And as a response to some of your concerns:
A) How on earth would your sheets get wet? They aren't in the water
B) The walkway leads outside of the room
C) I am sure they already found a way to fix the smells of the chlorine
D) The room might be temperture controlled
E) Let's hope that you don't sleep walk
sounds like a fair argument………you should be a lawyer
