After rummaging through my favorite blogs this week, I was simply overwhelmed with all of the choices available when it comes to design — you can can go ultra-girly, you can go ultra-masculine, you can put houseplants in a desk, you can learn to break dance with good design…. The choice is yours! Read on to figure out what on earth I’m talking about.
Some women are “cat ladies.” I, on the other hand, am a “plant lady.” I’m running out of direct sunlight to keep my houseplants happy. I need a plant sitter when I go out of town and yes, many of my plants have names. Call me crazy, but these interesting ways to incorporate more plants into your life are just what the doctor (psychologist?) ordered:
I’m in a design conundrum — Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde style. Part of me gravitates toward happy, bright feminine prints while the other half wants to decorate my home with brooding colors, tattered antiques and masculine, dark wood. These images make it all the more difficult to pick a side:

I fell in love with this floor and wall art. I’ve been meaning to learn how to break dance. Now I can practice in the privacy of my own home before takin’ it to the streets!
