The daffodils bloomed last week and the hills and roadsides are covered with yellow blooms. Just in time, too, since I couldn’t handle one more week of gray skies and brown grass. The Bradford pears and cherry trees are budding now and the azaleas and dogwoods won’t be far behind. Seems like a good time for some design inspiration, flower style.

However, I'm also surprised and quite shocked. I feel that as a representative of a professional organization (Scripps/HGTV), you could have extended the professional courtesy of asking us if you could display this photograph on your blog. It's really not too much to ask. Regardless of the DMCA, in my opinion, if you can take the time to copy and paste an image, and attribute it with the appropriate credit, you can also take the time to ask for advance permission to use it. That's all we ask.
