I love the orange/yellow/brown room with the contrasting blue/grey walls.

Hey Karli – I wanted to drop you a line about a designer I saw at a show in Los Angeles. I felt his designs should be available to a larger audience than just the local design scene.

Daniel Ogassian, at http://www.ogassian.com, designs and manufactures clean, futuristic ceramic and concrete wall and floor tiles. He uses organic, warm textures, adding depth to any surface.

This bath featuring his "optic" tile from his concrete collection resembles a modern jewelry box full of faceted surfaces: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2691/4489496037_c2

I pamper myself through yoga. Sounds cheesy, but taking the time to focus completely on myself, to know that I am grounding myself physically and mentally, allows me to put the world into perspective and relax completely.
