This week we want to know: How do you pamper yourself? Did you remodel your bathroom to mimic a beloved spa? Do you spend your “me time” lounging on your porch with a glass of wine? You have until 12/11c Monday to answer. Click here for official rules.

I go and get a deluxe pedicure. AAAHHH!!! It is so relaxing and my toes look awesome.
I pamper myself by sitting in my front room that overlooks a portion of my yard that attracts a lot of wildlife.
I paint, read, or play games on facebook.
I pick up my favorite book, sit on the back porch on my favorite chair facing the sun and read.
Now that we are retired my hubby and I enjoy sitting on the patio of our little condo, every evening, sipping wine and visiting with our young neighbors!
I've got a bathroom remodel planned–I'm particularly looking forward to stripping the 70s era wallpaper and painting the walls a dark blue, to provide a striking contrast to the white tile that surrounds most of the room
First thing is a steaming shower, followed by my fluffy terry robe, a good book and cup of tea. Ahhhhhh!!
At the end of the day, I love to sit in my living room, where the afternoon sun is mellow. I have a huge wall of windows, so it feels like I'm outside. I love to have a margarita and do the crossword puzzle, while sneaking peeks outside…LOVE IT!!
When extremely stressed usually put on my ipod and go for a very long walk, that should do the trick and then I may sit down on my deck and have a nice glass of wine. Life is stressful so we should find healthy ways to ease it . I thought at this stage of the game the stress would be gone but it seems life has a different plan for me.
I always enjoy curling up on the couch with my afgan, some popcorn, and a movie
In keeping with the green theme…. Once a month or more often, if I have time, I take my used coffee grinds and mix them with greek yogurt. I have a wonderful, all natural and eco-friendly body scrub. My skin is exfoliated and soft. I feel good about recyling my coffee grinds and not using any chemicals on my body. Plus, I think the caffeine helps make my thighs look smaller (lol).
I pamper myself at the end of each day in our newly remodeled master bath. A soothing whirlpool bath does the trick. Those new fluffly towels would put the experience over the top. Ahhhhhhh….
Ahh,i like to let go of the modern, technological world and reconnect with older, simpler things.I like to drink green and honey tea, write a letter to a friend, read magazines and watch programs of travel and far-off places.Visit an awe-inspiring place, like a national park or a historical site.I LOVE GARDENS!!They're so beautiful especially zen japanese ones with creaking bamboo and trickling water, yoga, dance around like i did when i was younger,do things i did when i was a child, ride a bike, laugh, draw(even though i do it horribly),classical music, but i find nature is the best way to unwind,no sounds and atmosphere can give you what nature provides.
In the winter, it's in the tub. In the summer, it's on the deck surrounded by all of the potted plants.
I just bought a home in the picturesque Sierras of Northern California. My back deck overlooks a lush meadow so I plan to pamper myself by installing an adjoining gazebo/hot tub with stereo surround. Ahhh, relaxing.
On Sundays I have the house to myself. I wake up, fill the tub, add scented salts and take a nice long bath. After the bath I give myself a facial, mani and pedi. I straighten my hair and end the pamper by laying down with a massager on my back.
I sit out on my deck with a cup of coffee and the newspaper.
I take a bath. The tub has some jets, which makes it all the better. Now only if I could get the soothing music to play throughout the house…
By going to a completely refreshing yoga class followed by a glass of red wine and a gourmet salad. It's knowing I have done work that is good and healthy for myself that makes me feel like I can really relax. I would sit and watch an old movie (Funny Face perhaps?) with my food and wine and I would then, truly feel at ease.
im a single grandmother who works has 5 grand children.and with so much family i dont have much sit down me time.so i dvr hgtv so when i have me time i get to sit and watch what i enjoy on hgtv..i even have hgtv as my favorite show on facebook.
I go on an adventure. What our grandaughter called "going on a venture". Drive without a known destination…meander…find a home farm stand with veggies or apples, or just drive and let the sun, dappled through the trees along the roadside, move over your face. Heavenly… Stop at a little store and pick up some cheese and crackers, a cold (or hot) drink, depending on the season. This is exactly as I did with my family when I was a little girl, too!
Relaxing is hard to do when your paying so much for a home. However to pamper myself I installed a jacuzzi inside a cover screened in porch. The jacuzzi in it self is relaxing.
Our sunroom is the "pampering central" of our home. Whether it's–Sunday morning reading the paper, drinking coffee & listening to classical music; or, knitting & Sudoku solving with the sunlight streaming in; or, watching a movie while having a champagne toast at the end of a busy weekend; or, playing a game with our grandson; or, (and this is the best) having a midday nap on the vintage rattan couch which was inherited from my mother (embracing, comforting, relaxing)!
Allow myself to spend as long as I want in the shower!
I curl up with a soft throw and watch HGTV. I absolutely love the shows, my favorite is Sarah's House!
I like to lay on the couch and take a nap with my dog. Lame? Probably, but very relaxing, too!
Well, I go geocaching! It is like treasure hunting in the modern world. Then I come home, make a nice dinner, have a hot shower, a glass of wine. Geocaching may sound like an odd way to "pamper" myself but it is a way to completely get out of my regular life. I get to think differently as I puzzle out finding the hiding places once I arrive at the location, I visit places in my city and state I never knew existed, I get success and thrills of the find, I get laughter and friendship, I enjoy the gorgeous outdoors, I get to pretend I'm a spy and be stealthy so the regular people don't know what is hidden right under their noses! It is great fun and brings me joy.
I like to take off my socks, lay back on the couch and watch streaming movies on Netflix.
If the weather's nice, I open a nice bottle of wine and sit on my patio and do absolutely nothing. About once a year, I spend an absurd amount of money (absurd for me) at a spa, getting one of the all day packages. I also treat myself to a nice steak and for desert, something decadent.
After getting the kids in bed I like to plop face-first onto the bed…. Mainly because it makes me laugh and a good laugh is always relaxing!!!
I pamper myself by waking up before everyone else and drinking a leisurely cup of tea on the sun porch. I listen to the chatter of the birds, hear the buzz of the bees and get ready for a day of chasing 3 year old twins.
Make myself a cup of great-tasting hot coffee or tea and sit in a comfy chair with my legs pulled up,
read ing the newspaper or a magazine.
