This week we want to know: How do you pamper yourself? Did you remodel your bathroom to mimic a beloved spa? Do you spend your “me time” lounging on your porch with a glass of wine? You have until 12/11c Monday to answer. Click here for official rules.

We remodeled our old yellow sink, toilet and tub with the white and gold speckled ceramic tiles. We put in tumbled travertine, a big shower head, repainted the tub white, put in Italian marble countertop with real petrified wood running thru it and a vessel sink and appropriate faucet. Then we decorated it with olive green and brown. It's like walking into a spa every time I enter it!
I love to relax in my bathroom garden tub, radio playing my favorite type of music quietly & I absolutely LOVE the smell of my own fresh towels afterwards!
i get in a bathtub full of bubbles with a good book and a locked door!
I like to sit out on the porch swing, close my eyes and feel the cool breeze hit my face. I try to take in all the "silence" around me and listen to the beautiful natural sounds that the Lord has provided us. I can imagine it now. AAAAAAAAAA!
I love to relax with a good book in the shade and something cool to drink.
I go to a nail salon and get a manicure-pedicure and massage….. or if I can't afford that, I put on some nice music on Pandora, open up a bottle of red and cook up something delicious!
I spritz on an extra helping of my favorite cologne just as I’m about to go to bed so that I smell something I really love just as I go to sleep.
I love reading at a coffee shop int he winter and on my back deck with a glass of wine in the summer. Basically, "me time" is all about getting lost in a book
At 45 years young, I pamper myself with video games (sims 3) or playing games online (pogo.com). That relaxes me!
Sit down with a steaming Latte and watch HGTV.
I sit outside under the mulberry tree listeningto the sweet little birds & dream about remodeling my bathroom
Green Tea and silence, nothing better!
I pamper myself by finding a quiet comfy spot to read.
I love to pile into the hammock with some pillows and a book and read. If I happen to fall asleep, even better!
i relax with a glass of GRAY GOOSE & CRANBERRY while i watch HGTV LOVE HGTV LOL
Sitting outside on the patio and talking and having a nice conversation with my hubby!
I would relax by starting my day with some yoga then going shopping, and then to a spa where they can finish giving me the message to relax the rest of my body since i have already done my mind soul and last body.
I love to sit in front of the TV in my oversized chair and watch HGTV; especially when it comes to curb appeal or outside projects that inspire me and my hubby. I like to have nice beverage such as an iced mocha vinte or a glass of ice tea with a squeeze of lime in it. My tibetan terrier sitting in my lap with my feet up on ottoman. However, I'd love to have a bathroom shower makeover for my husband and a closet organizing project would be heavenly. Or a mudroom redo.
In the spring, summer, and fall, we sit on the screened-in porch on our rocking couches and sip a glass of wine. In the winter, we sit in the family room and watch House Hunters International on DVR!
Sit on the patio looking at the landscaping projects we've done, and dreaming of the next one!
I love to take a book to the swing and lay there and read until sleep overtakes me.
A hot bath or a pedicure is so relaxing for me. Ahhhhhh…….
I find I am the most relaxed in the morning (before everything starts) watching the beautiful flowers coming out or in the evening (when everything is done) talking a long walk on the beach listening to the sounds of the ocean and watching the waves in the light of the moon.
I get a pedicure.
With young kids the only pampering I get is the hour our so I get to plop down on the couch in front of the TV after the kids are finally in bed.
I like to wrap myself in a soft blanket. I bought a comforter a year ago for quality instead of price tag. It's the first time I've had something than cheap polyster blankets andit's so soft, I just want to lie in bed all day.
i lock myself in the bathroom, run a full hot bath and then just soak in silence… pure bliss!
I love to go for a long walk alone…its peaceful and a great stress reliever.
I shop…….which isn't very often. We have a single income at the moment and usually everything I buy is for my children. So every great once in a while it is nice to splurge..(not too much)….on myself.
I love to sit on the couch and read a great book!
A cup of tea with honey and a little alone time with a good book
I sit with a good book in a quiet place, with a piece of quality chocolate, the best!
(Either that or watch Mike Holmes with hubby!)
Pampering for me is sitting on the couch wrapped in a big blanket with the TV playing in the background and a book in my lap. Even better if my husband makes me a nice hot cup of tea. He makes it sooo much better than I do (he isn't afraid to add a lot of honey and sugar)
taking a long shower actually is the only place I can relax, with three kids relaxing is out of the question.
I don't get to pamper myself much. About the only pampering I get would be crawling in bed with a large glass of Silk Chocolate Soy Milk and watching a good TV show–like 24, NCIS, Masterpiece Theater and such.
I love hanging out in cafes flipping through design magazines and a few books!
My "Me Time" would be relaxing in my comfy chair with a hot cup of coffee after a very productive day.
Pampering myself and finding me-time is hard to come by with 2 year and 6 month old kids! When I do have "pampering moments", I love the little things… uninterrupted showers or a latte from my favorite coffee shop!
Curling up in bed under my favorite blankets and watch House Hunters/My First Place, after a long day with the toddler boys!
And to answer your other questions… no bathroom remodel as of yet! Also, I prefer margaritas over wine
One day I will have a spa bathroom! Unfortunately since I'm not even allowed to paint (we live in military housing) the only way I can relax is with a good book. You never know how important something like paint can be until you live in a place that looks like a hospital waiting room.
I sit out back on the patio listening to the birds an having a glass of Merlot… an listen to music also ….
I enjoy reading a good book while relaxing on our breezeway.
I enjoy relaxing in my whirlpool tub with a nice glass of wine, and knowing once I get out there is a soft towel waiting for me! Then it's off to bed for a good nights sleep
There is nothing like a nice hot shower to make me feel human again after being spat up on and peed on by a little boy.
After a stressful 10 hours of work on my feet all day, I come home, have a glass of wine and sit back on the couch with my laptop, all while my husband rubs my feet (without me even asking)! Immediately, I'm relaxed.
I have my husband watch the kids, I bring a glass of wine or crown and coke. I run the bath with a very fragrent bubbl ebath and light three candles. This way I am able to read a book to take my mind away from my world.
"Me time" would be working in the garding or spending time at the pottery wheel.
I pamper myself by sipping on a glass of wine and some candles in tub and bathroom dreaming of what it would be like in a new one. With my eyes closed I invision the most spaceous the most luxurious bathroom ever. And it works until my wine is gone the candles or gone and the water is turned cold and I open my eyes only to see my pampering was only a dream…..
On a nice day I grab a book and a glass of wine and sit on the deck looking over my garden and the pastures and breath.
Burning scented candles, hot shower, cold drink and music combo's are 1 way I pamper myself. Another fav is taking a nap on 600 or higher thread count sheets
