You and your grandmother will both appreciate this crocheted cushion cover.

With my last semester in college almost behind me and graduation in May, I’m spending April updating the decor in my last college living space for the summer months. I’m especially energized by the colors of spring.

Welcome summer with bright accent pillows and ceramics from the Donna Wilson Collection. These ceramic dogs are the perfect bookshelf knick-knacks.

There is nothing a dorm room needs more than storage boxes. I love these orange and gray book and media boxes made of felt. I also like these modern wall shelves, inspired by circuit boards, which turn blank wall space into storage space.

If you have wall space to spare, consider a large-scale inspiration board. I fill mine with photos and quotes for daily motivation.

Many residence halls don’t allow changes to the original walls, so these wall decals and stickers are a great alternative to painting and wallpaper. They are a quick (and non-destructive) way to add style to bland walls.

Vintage floral and granny chic designs are in. Why not bring these feminine colors and fabrics into your dorm decor? I love the girly fabrics, and the design takes me right back to my great-grandmother’s living room.

There’s no better way to bring Mother Nature inside than with fresh cut flowers. This floral arrangement project will fill my room with the fresh aroma in no time.
