I keep a shared Google calendar with my boyfriend for our work and social schedules. Very easy and coordinated because we can both edit it at any time.

I have a very large calendar so there's room for everyone's activities, and i keep a grocery list posted next to it so i can check off what's needed as necessary. My family also makes meal choices once a week for the next week, so I don't need to think about it too much, and I never have that 4:00 panic about what's for dinner!

I use the big family planner calendar – everyone has access to it. Lists help me make the most of where I need to go and what I need to get. Try to make just one trip and combine everything together.

  4. My organization tip that keeps us all sane is my phone! Between the lists, the calendar on it & the ability to take photos of things I need to remember it is our life line for sure. I keep track of addresses and phone numbers too. I don't know what I'd do without it at this point. I even use it these days for coupons. :-D

I keep a paper calendar on the side on the cabinet that is in the doorway of the kitchen so I walk past it a million times a day so it's impossible to miss it.

for every album i add to my itunes library, i put in the year, album artwork, and i put where the artist is from in the 'comment' field. having an organized music library is amazing, and it's pretty slick to be able to pull up all my french 60s music whenever i like.

I use a combination of Outlook reminders for birthdays and events we've commited to and paper for grocery lists and to do lists. This bamboo dry erase would be perfect!

We have baskets, bins and hidden storage everywhere, particularly in our daughter's room. In there, she has several bins to corral her toys, a storage ottoman for her school books, hooks for miscellaneous clothing, coats, etc., and even a small bin on her nightstand for all the little things that never seem to find their way back where they belong. That helps her tremendously because she knows where everything goes, and it preserves my sanity :)

Lots of lists for things that need to be done as well as maximizing the storage spaces.

I am the queen of organization. I recently organized my 10' x 2' closet by making the space more effecient. I practice the art of Feng Shui so clearing clutter is very important to me. I watch HGTV often and get alot of good ideas from many shows.

Each shelf and bar has a purpose, but I was able to add some lovely storage pieces, ie bamboo drawer unit to store crafts and other small personal items, My shelfs have baskets that seperate items for ease of reach and for appearance. There are wire baskets that hang from under the shelves that allow for hand bags, and notebooks, I can even place my books on the closetmade shelving due to the shelf liner that is on the top. It keeps things from falling through. Finally, my clothes have a rack for shirts, rack for skirts and pants, and another bar for longer items. A place for everything and everything in it's place.
