This would be great above my daughters desk.

  2. @LateOne says:

I actually don't have a great organizational system which is why I NEED this board. It would be PERFECT in my kitchen to keep the lists and clutter at bay which would seriously help me sleep at night.

  3. shellie says:

I am organizationally handicapped. Seriously. I am willing to try anything lol.

  4. teresa thompson says:

I use baskets. I have a basket on the bathroom door to organize my morning routine supplies needed. Also, I use a basket in the front seat of my car that holds my drink, a pen and paper, kleenex , my phone and snacks underneath. Time saver and very organized

  5. lrhoufiry says:

I keep a small note pad with me so if I'm in the car or anywhere and I think of something I write it down.

  6. Cheryl says:

The front panels of my fridge are dry erase and I love it!! Now, anything I need from the store can be written there temporarily until I'm able to get it into my phone before I go shopping and I can keep track of everyone's appointments and activities in one central location. I also have a very extensive filing system. Every person has their own folder with anything in it related to them, receipts in one, unpaid bills in another, so on and so on. As for clutter, I can't stand it (I honestly can not relax if there is anything out of place), and keep my house straight all the time.

  7. I am striving for better organization skills ~ but one thing that has really helped me the most is using my file drawer in my desk ~ I file everything away right then once I have handled any paperwork ~ if I leave something laying around for any length of time without filing immediately ~ it will most certainly get lost or misplaced ~ I also scan important documents that may have to be sent out or emailed ~ always read to send if need be without having to pull it out of the file and make copies or fax ~ I file things just as I once did at work for individual business accounts ~ I always know where everything is when I need to refer back to any information regarding whatever ~ has not failed me yet!!!! I have a folder for most any category you could imagine! Would love to win this little organize in today's Friday Freebier!!!

  8. Bethany says:

How neat!! I have plenty of little plastic bins that help me keep somewhat organized. This organizer is a great idea!

  9. Amy says:

Lists! Baskets! Calendars! Plus when I see junk starting to pile up I pick a drawer or portion of the room and clean it up for just 5 minutes, sometimes that's all the time that I have, and it does cut down on the clutter.

  10. Jenni says:

I am a huge organizer! I love to organize. As a teacher, I have to stay organized and one way I do that is to stick color-coded post-its on any sheet of paper, book, envelope, etc. For instance, I'm planning a wedding. So, on my desk anything that has to do with wedding planning has a yellow post-it (our colors are gold/yellow and black!). Anything that has to do with school/work, I place a green post-it on (one of our school colors is green). Financial info gets a blue post-it, and so on. That way, I can quickly grab my papers and know what to do with them!

  11. Cara says:

Calendars are a must, but lists are my best friends. I love being able to check things off when they are completed.

  12. cmsheila says:

I like cool and I aspire to be organized. This looks like a winner.

  13. destiny says:

I use the basket method, granted I have quite a few of them though.

  14. I have a calendar posted in the kitchen and also use a planner. Additionally I use lists and post notes to family and myself. This Bamboo Dry-Erase Wall Panel would be very useful and save paper. I love it! :-)

  15. Staci Miserlian says:

I may not look organized to the casual observer, but I have "zones" for everything. This is my "Girl Scout zone", this is my "Stampin' Up! zone", this is my "school paperwork zone", etc. That keeps it somewhat on track. Luckily, I have a pretty good photographic memory for what is in what zone. It breaks down when I stack things willy-nilly, though, & then I need to sort.
I LOVE this organizer. Would be great in my kitchen!

  16. tfernand says:

Baskets are my favorite way to organize stuff. There is one near the door for keys, several in the kitchen with fruit and snacks, in the bathroom with combs and brushes, some in other rooms with books, magazines and CDs. Love to fill baskets!

  17. Erin says:

We have a chalk board with our family's schdules on it (this doesn't include work stuff – just family stuff). We also keep important phone numbers and ideas for future things. I think this system would work great on / near the door for that last minute stuff like notes to spouse, outgoing mail, etc. I really like it! And it is bamboo! very cool.

  18. I have an insane amount of baskets!

  19. Michelle says:

I keep a large calendar that is color coded for my husband and each kid. I also like to keep a file folder with my on going grocery list, coupons and ads clipped onto it so that when I leave the house to do the shopping for the week, everything is in one place. I wish I could figure out a way to go paperless with the calendar, but I need something that will show months in advance because of kids appointments, days off from school, sports schedules etc. Any ideas?

  20. LA Jones says:

When a new item comes into the house, an old item should go out. Give it away, recycle it, sell it or throw it away.

  21. Jennifer Taylor says:

I'm a franklin planner girl for personal stuff, and keep master lists for the family in the kitchen.

  22. Nicole says:

I have lists on my refrigerator and a calendar on the kitchen wall. I also post other reminders on the white board by the calendar. I track clothes for each of my kids by season and size in plastic tubs.

  23. Susanne says:

A Huge calendar on my desk.

  24. Patty Smith says:

I use a spiral notebook for my lists and brain things- I keep phone numbers, bank amounts, work issues, to do lists- every page is dated- and I save the notebooks for future reference.

  25. Lisa Hill says:

I use lists and baskets to help keep me organized. I write everything on my calendar.

  26. I use little round tins that spices come in to organize office supplies… then put stick on magnets on the bottom and stick them to the file cabinet or a metal bar that I mounted under the upper cabinet in the kitchen.

  27. Lori says:

I am a big list maker, love to catergorize, prioritize and check things off. Love multi compartment storage items, whether canvas or wicker baskets, clear shoe organizers to go on back of doors for all sorts of items except for shoes, and I also use both a day planner at home to keep track of things, and the calendar and notes feature on my cell phone to keep track of appointments, etc…

  28. I keep lists and appointments on my Android phone..with alarms set so that I don't miss key appointments.
Keep a basket downstairs, and one upstairs…take a basket of laundry upstairs, and bring back another load down. Never go up or down without seeing what needs to be done! My aim is to build a 'pretty' locker system just inside the front door for all the stuff that usually ends up on the kitchen counter. How does everyone deal with the massive amounts of mail each day? I'm setting up a file box and seeing if that works better than slinging it on the counter:)

  29. Jolaine says:

I'm old school – paper day timer that fits in my purse…..also, I take vitamins to feed my human blackberry – my brain!

  30. Sharon Norris says:

There are tips for being organized ? Seriously ? I got nothing.

  31. Kelly says:

To organize my children,I bought 3 colored bins that sit by the bottom of the stairs, each of the colors represents one of my kids.During the week I find things around the 1st floor, that they have left behind, papers from school, shoes, socks ect… at the end of the week, each child carries their bins up and put their things away. Saves a lot of time :)

  32. Hi,

I work as an assistant for an attorney. At a law office organization is crucial and it took me awhile to come up with ways to keep everything organized but I think I am getting the hang of it.
    1) I keep binders for all statements, bills, medical refferals. I have dividers labeling each company ie. Time Warner Cable, Verizon, AT&T etc. then as the bills are paid i put them in the binder arranging them chronologically from oldest to most recent.
    2) I ordered snap n storage boxes from staples to hold all invoices. They sell index cards that have months, numbers and letters typed on the tab so it is easy for anyone to organize reciepts, coupons, and any other small pieces of paper are easy to lose.
    3) Label Everything! Ordering a Label-Maker for the office was the best decision I made. It makes finding files so much easier and prettier to look at. Plus, you can re-use the folders simply by peeling of the labels and replacing it.
    Enjoy the weekend!

I keep everything in order by writing all I will do the next day yin my agenda. This keeps me focused on what need to do every day. This has worked for me very well.

  34. Kimberly R says:

I've got what I like to call the "mother planner" in my purse at all times…not to mention all the schedules on my phone with reminders and alarms.

  35. butkus says:

To stay organized, I de – clutter. It helps keep my mind on what needs to be done : )

  36. Nicole says:

I use "virtual" sticky notes that are on my computer's desktop. Before I can waste time on the computer, I have to do 1 thing from my list!

Lists def a must. Reminders from my iphone calendar. For bills, everything is on autopay for a little more than the largest bill amount I've had. At the end of the year, I have a credit for most of the bills and can skip December payments. Fixed payments, I still pay more by dividing that monthly amount by 12 and adding that every month for 11 months to either skip the December payment or cutting the life of a loan. Wipe boards with calendars are great for having the child help with writing and keeping track of events to come. I also have a bag for the library, separate bag for taekwondo class, separate bag with cub scouts gear, school backpack, and weekend bag for sleepovers at relatives. everything is neatly hung on hooks and my son knows what to grab for each event without having to look for things everywhere last minute. someone already said it, but emailing myself and also my husband works wonderfully.

Totes and baskets around the house for shoes, books, and other items. We go through them as a family every few days and put everything back in its place.

  40. lindsey says:

aside from being a wee bit obsessive – ok you can call me ocd – in a small place with a messy husband and dog, i have a place for everything… and everything stays in that place. clean up each evening and the mess doesn't overtake us. plus i sort the little mail we get (everything else i do online to cut down on paper) right over the recycling bin.

  41. Jolie DeVries says:

I have a magnet calendar on the fridge with the times and dates for EVERY activity.
We also had a non-usable blank wall by our back door, made into cubbies for our boys' backpacks, coats, shoes, etc. It was inexpensive, looks fabulous, and I don't have to yell everyday "who's shoes and crap is laying around?" :) Every family should have cubbies!

  42. jennifer says:

I'm working on it. I'm trying the calendar on my phone for our schedule, switched to a smaller purse and wallet so there would be less chance that I'd accumulate a mess there…little things but they're going well…

  43. Ronna R. says:

I have a calendar on the frig one in my office and one in my purse. Not to mention the magnets that hold this and that on the frig. There's a note pad on the kitchen counter another in my office and again in my purse. I write on every calendar so my husband and I both know what the other is doing. I have boxes with labels in my office that really make it easy. My husband has bought me 3 label makers and I don't know how I survived with out them. We are middle aged old folks so we I have to write it all down. Ü
Oh, I love the bamboo dry erase board, it serves so many purposes.

  44. Lori R. says:

I keep a master calendar on my computer of everyone's schedules and bill due dates. It keeps everything in order so (almost) nothing falls through the cracks.

  45. wadew says:

wow, bamboo with dry erase markers? Would certainly spiff up the kitchen where we keep the "todos"

    Very cool!

  46. kim says:

i still like to use the paper calendars (i know, vintage, right?) it keeps my weekend events and appointments handy and i can easily see what i have planned for the entire month all at once. i guess i just can't get myself to move over to the e-calendar on my phone yet. =)

  47. smvarnam08 says:

I am not very organized but one thing I cannot stand is cords to different electronics all over the place (especially ones that I don't know what item they belong too). I took my labeler and made labels that I taped around each cord so I know exactly what cord that item goes with. This makes it very easy if I am looking for my charger to my Ipod or trying to locate a specific cord in the mass of cords behind the TV.

  48. 1naturelover says:

I keep all appointments on a calendar in the kitchen and have reminders on my cell phone for the day before. I keep a dry erase board on the side of the fridge for needed grocery items and a weekly to do list. I have a basket in each major room to put mail, magazines, papers etc. File all important mail, statements etc in file cabinet. Keep important documents in a special folder…birth certificates, insurance papers, marriage license etc. I use lists and notes on projects and needed items so I can shop for sales and cut out ads and coupons from paper to save on these items.

  49. Ashley says:

To-do lists. I feel accomplished when I can cross things off.

  50. Jenna says:

An organized closet makes me happy. I separate clothes by type and organize each type by color so if I need a blue short sleeved shirt I know exactly where it is and how many I have :)
