it would have to be the perfect clock to go with the decor of the room..
I've been looking for that "just right" buffet. I found a beautiful table for twelve at a closeout for $50, then several months later found the perfect chairs (12) on closeout for $29 each. Now my good old Scotch blood has been on the lookout for a great buffet at a bargain!
Butter flies for me to make bedspeard for my 12 year daughter who been real sick this year.
I now live in a very modern apartment here in sunny Puerto Rico. It has an open concept kitchen, dining room and living room area. The apartment came with a gorgeous lighting fixture in the kitchen and since the other three lighting placements are considered to be in the same “great room” I am going cRAZY trying to find a cohesive look in all the fixtures without it costing a fortune!
Also, I have been searching everywhere for some chic and funky runners for my dining room set and hutch. I am bored out my mind with the same cheap, shiny polyester beige runners with tassels and brocade in the stores and internet! I need some color! HELP!!!
I've been looking for the perfect wall mount shelf to hold the main boxes to our TV, something seemless, floating, the proper length, width and affordable
I'm looking for the perfect wall mount shelf to house the component boxes to our TV, which is mounted on the wall above the fireplace… something seamless, floating, the proper length, width and affordable!
I have a fear of color! HEEEEEEELLLLPPPPPP
The perfect medallion for a smaller chandelier.
The perfect black and white fabric for kitchen curtains and blue and brown-ish fabric for the family room valances.
I need the best way to store all of my fabric in my sewing room. I need to be able to see and easily get at it. I have it on book shelves now but that just isn't working. I can never really see all of it. If I go to take a piece out of the middle of a stack of fabric it makes a big mess.
I looking for the perfect bench dinning table that can store things while being comfortable
The perfect teal pillows to match my bed spread!
Any DIY gardening kit "For Dummies". I want an easy all-inclusive kit for creating a substantial vegetable garden. (Wouldn't it be great to have kits for "railroad gardens" and "japanese gardens" as well?!)
I have been looking for abric panels for a canopy bed that have a sea/beach inspired theme.
I have decorating basics down, but I don't know how to pull it together for that final "polished" look.
The perfect backdrop for my stove.
I have yet to find the perfect material to re-upholster my couch. It was passed down to me from my grandma and is in dire need of new fabric and is slightly too big for those temporary couch covers but I haven't been able to find anything that I think will look good on it.
Painted our master bedroom a beautiful blue shade – not too gray – not too pastel. Unfortunately did not buy bedding or fabric for drapes. Not to mention the old club chair that needs to be recovered as soon as I find the "perfect fabric." I have been LOOKING for 4 years now and am about to give up and repaint the room! (although it looks fabulous with our black furniture!) Hopefully I won't give up on finding the perfect fabric – any suggestions?
I can't find the perfect couch. It needs the right firmness and the cushions to stay put!
another 100sq feet to add to our nyc apartment!
Can’t find baskets like my daughter-in-law gave me one year for Christmas. Would like to have all matching baskets.
I live in a college dorm room – I have been looking all 4 years for a crafting table that is good enough for quilting and scrapbooking, yet isn't too expensive, and won't take up precious space!! Same goes with storage – I am always looking for a more convenient and space-saving way to store the huge amount of supplies I have so that they're accessible and yet I don't have to sacrifice every square foot of walking space! I am sooo tired of 18-gallon totes!!
I am not a designer, but I have been looking for some fabric that would look good with my dining room and also coordinate with my living room, since they are close together, I have never been able to find that one fabric that has what I want. I think I should give Fabrics on Demand a try. I always thought maybe I was trying to hard or maybe I was too much of a perfectionist, but It's good to know that others have similar problems.
Silver Damask fab. chairs. Would love two please.
Bamboo roman shades in a medium wood tone that will fit my extra long windows.
I have been searching for hand carved wooden shutters that I have seen in beautiful Mexican homes.
I'm looking for the perfect room to convert my unfinished attic into. I want a reading nook, and extra bedroom, and a bathroom. I don't know if my attic can hold all that, but I certainly want to try! Oh, and it needs a window seat!
A living room rug with the perfect pattern made out of new zealand wool…I like the softness, lol
2000 threads hand made fabric with mixed color that is not expensive at all.
A round, counter-height table would help me feel less boxed in, in my study. Too many right-angled elements in here— desk, shelves, 10-drawer cabinet, even my rug is rectangular!
a mexican looking chandelier to hang over a small bistro table that is in our foyer, something unique, that would add to the impression of being in an outdoor courtyard.
The perfect shelving system to go over a flat panel TV.
Bedside tables that are narrow enough to fit in the limited wall space next to our king size bed. They have to fit in with a wrought iron bronze frame and blend with the wood of our dresser–need just the right painted ones!
My home was built in 1930 and the kitchen is in definate need of updating, I have been searching for a very long time on how to re-do my counters, I would love to find the perfect solution to an easy way to new counters and make them look like professional's came in and left me a surprise, every morning I wake up I hate looking at these old counters. My search continues
I've been looking for pillows to match our 1970's mustard yellow gold velvet couch to make that color look a bit more modern vintage. Or a velvet slipcover to go over the couch to make it a more modern color. But I don't know if it's worth investing in.
A Claw Foot Jaccuzzi Bath Tub…do they exist?
I would like 5 yards of fabric like that used by Sarah in her farmhouse on her show "Sarahs House".
I have been looking for a way to add areas like a patio. Decks are great if you have someone to build them, which I don’t.
So I’m trying to be as creative as possible with this project. Inside though, Curiosity Cottage is all about fabric and making things from pillow case dresses to aprons. Some people go crazy in jewelry stores…for me, it is fabric!!
I would like to find a tri color paint combo for our 1860 Victorian but the kicker is I would prefer the paint to simply materialize the same way it does on a computer screen! But I do want to find period colors.

A perfect way to display family portraits.
An inexpensive way to fininsh the cement foundation in our basement.
I have been looking for years for a antique or vintage piece of furniture that is high enough to serve as a side table beside a my very high bed. I determined an antique sheet music cabinet might work but I have never found one.
We've been searching for the perfect bedroom set since we got married 6 years ago … in the meantime we are using the set that I had as a kid which is (a) not our style (b) not designed for adult clothes. We both know what we want but want it to be the PERFECT set before we spend the money on it!

The perfect sofa. I've been looking for a new one for years and have never found one that I felt was worth spending the money on. Maybe next year…
Nice question. What home decor item have I been searching for, for years? Well it hasn't been for years, it's not like I have been around for so much time, but me and my mom have been looking for a picture frame, for a drawing of a lighthouse that was given to her as a gift a couple years ago. It doesn't seem to fit anywhere and it's not like we have the money to have a custom frame made. That drawing is very special to her, she loves lighthouses!! and some custom fabric wouldn't hurt! HGTV rocks! and FOD too!!! thanks God Bless you
