Recently, I came across the cutest product — the GurglePot. The beautiful, clean design of this fish-shaped pitcher was enough to win me over, but the gurgling sound it makes when it pours sealed the deal. This week, we’re giving you the chance to win ten Gurglepots in a variety of colors. All you have to do is answer our question before 12/11c, Monday, June 21. Be sure to provide a valid email address so we can contact you if you win.

This week we want to know, when is cute decor too cute? Do you draw the line at pink marabou pillows? What about canisters with a puppy motif? You have until 12/11c Monday to answer. Click for official rules.

Pink, purple, kittens, puppies, flowers or butterflies, if two or more of these items are in the same design, you've crossed over the cute line.
A little cutesy goes a long way; however sentimental items for a special occasion is great.
I think that it is a matter of personal taste. A person can decorate his home as he or she wants too. If their taste runs to kittens on wallpaper, well that is what they like. Everyone has a different idea of what is cute or smart or warm when it comes to decorating.
If you are a guest in someones home, you should not criticize what their decorating is like. After all the way you might do things would seem just as distasteful to someone else.If I have a friend ask how I like what they did with the living room, den etc. I am polite and will tell them its nice regardless of whether or not I would do things the same way. It is not up to me to tell them what to do with their home, nor is it anyone else's business.
No hearts and lace! Anything that smacks of a great-grandma, without a new edge to it!
If it puts a smile on your face, it's not too cutesy!
I'm with the posters who mentioned themed rooms. One or two sentimental knickknacks are okay, but adults who keep shelf after shelf of Precious Moments figurines? Creepy.
Another personal pet peeve — animated cartoons on ANYTHING.
It's too cutesy when it's everywhere – like the beach house that uses lighthouses or seashells or fish or Jimmy Buffet all over – or polka dots, or anything that is used in an unrelenting way, without thought or reason, over and over again, everywhere. Something that is used in limited touches with restraint, that makes you smile, is pretty much OK. But over and over and over again – claustrophobic!
We all have something that we just adore, but only a touch of if in your decora is enough. My sister loves black and white, she did her entire house in black and white, no accent colors, no varying of the standard black and white. She came home one day and stated what the entire family had in so many soft words, this is enough! Learn that it okay to express yourself in your own way but there comes a point when you have to remember that pink walls, lace curtains and other girlie stuff is just too much.
extremely bright colors, florals and kid like looking
Cute on sophisticated works. Cute on homey is just creepy. For example, that pitcher would look fabulous on a white parsons table, but a porcelain doll on a miniature wooden rocking chair is creepy.
