Sounds funny, but finding bathroom rugs I like is never easy. I hate the rubberized synthetic things, love all cotton. But like multi-colored for not showing spots. Often turn to oriental or living room rugs, but then they aren't as absorbent. Have had luck shopping vintage too.

I'm looking for a small love seat that fits in my Victorian living room. Every furniture store is crammed with oversized pieces, but they look out of scale in my 13×13 room. I'm so picky I've got a half-empty living room rather than settle for less than the perfect piece. I'm starting to think, after six years of looking, that I'm going to have to go custom if I want to finish this room before I die.
Ayse, I have to have small scaled pieces too for my 1930's house, and I've found my best fits in thrift stores, consignment shops, and antique stores. I just bought a fabulous mid-century channel-back chair at a thrift store and even with the cost of fabric and reupholstery, I will spend about half the amount that a new chair would cost and the scale is perfect for my room!

I have an awkward corner in my living room that needs something, a chair or something. I would love an egg chair but I'm afraid it might be too big, so I'm on the hunt for a chair that's a little unusual but smallish. Meanwhile, I have art sitting on the floor waiting to be hung until I have that perfect piece of something or two.
I have a fireplace in the corner of my familyroom that is not a corner fireplace but is flat against the wall in the corner so I really need a sofa that is in an L shape with no arm on the right hand side. Right now I have a couch and a love seat in that room but the arm of the sofa blocks the fireplace so you can't enjoy or use it.
the accessory i'm *always* looking for to complete a room is an accent chair. if i was allowed to, i would just pass on the couch/love seat and fill the room with a variety of accent chairs as if they're my pupils in a classroom. y'all are so pretty!
