  1. David, David, David Bromstand!! He is so talented with design concepts, color, balance, and textures. Anything he comes up with would be awesome. He is versatile and not a one trick wonder. He could make products to fit almost everyones style.

  2. Shannon Cummins says:

    Candace Olson hands down…

  3. Ronnette says:

Betsy Johnson would have some awesome colors and designs for the home no matter which style decor you prefer.

  4. Karen says:

I was going to choose David Bromstad….and then I re-read the question! Oops! What FASHION designer do I want to come out with a home line!!! This is a tough question, because many already do. I've searched for one I know who doesn't have a home line–can't find one!

  5. Diane Abbott says:

    Marc Jacobs!

  6. Terri Goble says:

I love Susan Woo's new line! It's classy, sexy, and modern. I think a black and white living room from her would be stunning!

  7. Maria says:

    Carolina Herrera

  8. linda says:

What a beautiful line of home accesseries!

  9. carol says:

    david bromstad

  10. cazlyn says:

Candace Olson is so sohisticated & GETS what the client "really" wants. I'd love to have her design ANYTHING for me…she is awesome!

  11. linda lou says:

    Candace Olsen..love her designs!

  12. Tonya Muller says:

It is difficult to choose. I love Vern Yip, Candace Olsen and David Bromstad. I believe any one of these three or all three would create absolutely amazing creations. If you are only considering fashion designers then Stella McCartney, of course.

  13. Franchesca Maddalena says:

I love Vern Yip's classic yet modern, clean style. He always adds an unexpected whimsical pop to his spaces that is both refreshing and surprising. I would definitely love to see what he can do with textile design.

  14. MommyMomandm says:

Nanette Lepore – great style with energy! I love her! I wanted her to make my wedding dress back in 2003 so that should tell you something! Did I say I love her? Such wonderful designs and shape to her clothing that could transform any home!

  15. Carol says:

    Stella McCartney :-)

  16. monicaacevedo says:

I think Stella McCartney with her downtown NY style would make a great home line!

  17. Cathy Policare says:

It simply has to be Vern Yip.
Simply stated, his ideas and sense of design are timeless and I feel that his inspired home design items would work well with any decor, not just a "Vern" room.
    Please let it be VERN!!!!
    Thanks for tis opportunity!

  18. angelbrat2us says:

Candace Olson.. because she can pile so much stuff in a small room and make it look FABULOUS

  19. Achmat says:

A dream that will never come true but I use to always dream of Alexander McQueen doing Home! May his legacy live forever and his style continue to inspire us.

  20. Becky says:

David Bromstad, as long as there's a "David Bromstad for Target" line for those of us who can't pay high prices.

  21. Angela says:

Love HGTV, and would love to win some great stuff to brighten our home! Thanks!

  22. Sandy says:

David Bromstad. I love his creative use of color and the original paintings he does for clients' homes!

  23. Nancy says:

Well I know Candace Olson has already designed some furniture pieces. I would have to say David Bromstad with his strong abilities with color, texture and color. He would be the perfect person to have his own line. I love HGTV. Nancy Martin Piros

  24. HSU says:

David Bromstad SHOULD have his own line. An ad agency should also capitalize on the man's body for advertising. Did you see David SHIRTLESS on a COLR SPLASH episode? He puts that Old Spice ad campaign to shame.

  25. Lisa says:

I would love to see a line from Vern Yip. I always love what he comes up with!!

  26. Dee says:

David Bromstad all the way! He sure knows how color can make or break your room..

  27. Kathy Bode says:

David Bromstad with out a doubt. He is my ultimate favorite. I have been watching design shows since they first came out, and he is the best. I love his pop's of color. Not to mention he seems like a great person. If He had his own line, then it would be like he was designing my home. I would love to meet him and tell him how talented he is. Hi David~ you are amazing!

  28. Chrissyps1 says:

It's a toss up between Michael Kors and Marc Jacobs.

  29. jennifer c says:

sylvia tcherassi – i love her colorful flowy dresses

  30. Chrissyps1 says:

I also think Christian from Project Runway would have an interesting line.

  31. Angie Bennett says:

I think a Louis Vitton inspired leather pillow would be pretty cool!

  32. pandabear says:

I imagine a Marc Jacobs collection would look pretty awesome. Or Todd Oldham, but I think his would look a lot like Jonathan Adler… Sigh. Amazing. (Please, I want a whale porcelain butter dish!)

  33. I would love to buy some of Vern's designs. They would look so cool in my house. He should do it!!!!!He is such an awesome guy with a great personality, he would create a GREAT line!!!!

  34. dianemelong says:

David Bromstad, definitely! Trina Turk–lovely! Antonio Ballatore–very edgy.

  35. kim says:

    Dolce and Gabanna.

  36. yvette says:

For a fashion designer i would consider Oscar de la Renta or Carolina Herrera (also sharing the same last name) they are both very classy they are amazyng, now if we were to pick a designer from HGTV I agree with many the David Bromstead is really genius and make great pieces, but for something that would be my taste I 'll choose Antonio Ballatore he would create unique or one of the kind that nobody else has and also like Sarah for Sarah's House I love, love her style and uniqueness she can combine old and new, colors, patterns and styles and make it cohesive, she really has a style on her even to rebuild and redesign a house, she will be great to have her own home collection. Now for the pillows is exactly what I like and look for on fabrics and furniture,.colors that especial thing that I want my home to look like when I get one. In the mean time I just do what I can to get something little or old that is just beautiful that feel my heart with joy even ifsometimes I can't buy it.

  37. ROBIN says:

THE LITTLE TOUCHES OF CLASS, MAKE YOUR ROOM.

  38. Alli says:

The question of which FASHION designer I’d like to come out with a home line would be Eileen Fisher. Her stuff is so earthy and natural.

  39. Del says:

David Bromstad would be my choice for a home line. David knows how to make design colorful, fun, and fashionable. He inspired me to place color in every room of my house! His ideas are fresh and contemporary and take you to the edge of your imagination. Given a taste of David's style you can never go back to a blah existence.

  40. Megan Croft says:

I would like a home line from David Bromstad. I find him highly creative, fresh, and exciting.
    Megan

  41. Susan P. says:

    Vern Yip

  42. gatormomx2 says:

    Kate Spade

  43. vasquezkelley says:

Trina Turk is awesome in Turks latest line of beautifully fitting dresses, blouses and trousers.
Trina Turks' designs are inspired by the multicultural mix, architecture, and landscape of Los Angeles and the broader California landscapes. So that her collection of Handicraft is also cool.

    life coaching certification

  44. Catherine W says:

    Marc Jacobs for sure!

  45. KathyH88 says:

I don't know if he's considered a "fashion designer" but John Gidding is an awesome designer. His home line would be unique while being a perfect compliment to the decor.
