This week’s question: What fashion designer do you want to come out with a home line?

As awesome as it would be for David Bromstad to have a home line, the keyword here is "fashion" designer. So for me, I would have to say Betsey Johnson.
I would LOVE to see a home line from Candice Olson from Divine Design!!!!! I would buy anything she designs…
I would love to see a home line by Sarah Richardson, because she pays close attention to detail and her desihn savy is classic. It will never go out of style and can transition through various styles with just a mere change of pillows or accents/accessories.
Vera Wang
The vibrant, energetic, lively Betsey Johnson for certain!
I would love for Candice Olson to come out with a "home line" she has fabulous taste! She isn't afraid of any textures, colors and uses all different kind of styles. She really pays attention to detail! I love the way she incorporates beautiful wall paper in her designs! I would definitely purchase home design items from Candice! She creates Magic!
I'm voting for Kim Myles. I love her chic, fun, bubbly inspirations that don't cost a deflating amount of money. Truly a Design Star great find!
My vote would go to David Bromstad… he could just create his own line of art and be a huge success! But would definitely enjoy a line collection from him for the home!
MARK JACOBS is my pick for a fashion designer to come out with a home line. I think his attitude about fashion fits right in with HGTV and says a lot to many HGTV viewers – at least many that I have seen on the "rate your Space" site. Mark stated "I love to take things that are everyday and comforting and make them into the most luxurious things in the world. — Marc Jacobs" Mark Jacobs you have my vote hands down "on the sofa"
oops… I spelled his name wrong – Marc Jacobs. Check out some of his fashion shows. He uses a lot of different textures together and colors. A lot of classic linies as well.
I just love the vibrant colors in that pillow. I am a HGTV fan.
Candice Olsen is my most Fav designer!. She thinks of the most gorgeous ways to utilize space and design. I love her color choices and she certainly is on the same wave length as I am. Would love to see her designs for the Home!
i would like to see a home design by Kimora Lee Simons. i'm sure she'd be able to come up with some funky, fresh & fashionable furniture designs, that would be fit from baby's to grandparents. her styles for baby phat would be a great palate for a young girls' room, & the fashionable clothes she wears could inspire an elegant dining room, fresh family room, or a romantic bedroom.
Kimora Lee Simmons i mean…lol.
Definitely Antonio Ballatore. He really has a sense of edginess and playfullness along with comfort. That would be awesome to see some. Just imagine how entertaining some bedrooms, living rooms and even bathrooms could be!
PhyllisS I would like to see John Friend design a line of clothing for anyone. He is a yoga instructor and understands the allighment of body movements so he would be perfect to design clothing for the everyday women to do her yoga practise or just to run errands, but good looking well fitting comfortable not sweats clothing.
Candice Olson hands down would be my pick. She adds an air of sophistication to every room she designs. I would love to be able to bring her designs home in towels, linens, pillows, curtains, etc. I love the way she mixes colors, traditional items with some funky ones, and makes it look deliberately stylish. l love everything she does!
I would love to see Eileen Fisher develop a home line. Her fashion embodies clean lines, simple shapes and sensual fabrics. She also supports sustainable practices and empowerment of women.
David Bromstad because he is very down to earth but at the same time very creative and inventive with his designs.
good afternoon from NJ! christian siriano..he won project runway..i bet he would have some amazing creations for home furnishings!
thank you for the chance to win!

I love this design! It would be great for my living room is it was baby blue instead of pink. Although, "Pink is my signature color"
David Bromstad is so artistic and talented. He has a great eye for color and does a great job of mixing textures and patterns. AND he works within his client’s comfort level: modern, contenporary, tradtional, transitional… Is designs would translate and appeal to the masses!!
I love Vern Yip’s line of goods. But if not Vern, I’d have to go with my friend, jewelry designer and metalsmith, Susan Sarantos up in Newport, Rhode Island. Everything she does is gorgeous. She has a great sense of style and a wonderful aesthetic.
David Bromstad, love when he leans toward art deco
David Bromsted. His Color Splash has some of the innovative ideas. He needs to revamp Miami but his designs are still great.
I know Vera Wang already has a home dec line, but her stuff is WOW!!
I would have to say David Bromstad. I suspect that he could make an amazing set of fabrics for use all over the home.
Everything he does makes me smile!
I would love to see a home collection by Gareth Pugh!
hands down betsey johnson!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My fav designer ever, Candice Olsen! Everything she does is soooo beautiful.
I was going to say Marc Jacobs or Rodarte… but I think they've already done home collections, or at least home items for other collections… So I'm going to go with Christian Siriano because I KNOW he'd make something super fun!
Kelly Wearstler. Her style is awesome. It would be great if she came out with an affordable line.
Jason Wu. He is an amazing designer and his choice of fabrics and details would translate well into home decor.
My first thought was Angelo Surmelis (Rate this Space) but he has a furniture line already. For someone totally new what about Mike Holms? He is known for making things right so you Know his stuff wouldn't bejunk and appeal to the everyday person.
Candace Olson would be amazing!!! She is so incredibly talented…I love every room she's done!
I'd like to see the winner of Sunday's Design show! A fresh new face and new ideas would be welcomed!
Betsey Johnson, if she doesn't already have one…
David Bromstad. he is Uber- Fab in Miami!!!
I LOVE Candace Olson. I would be beside myself if she could come to the design a room in my home. I love her style! I am closet to Canada hint hint.
) She is amazing!!!
I love Kate Spade's stuff and wish there were more. In fact, I wish Target could get HER to do a line for them. And even though he's not in fashion, I agree with others before me that Vern's style rocks!
Vern, without a doubt his sense of detail and classic design is perfect
Candace Olson – I love her design style! Chic, but comfortable.
Kim Myles, I love her style!!!
Candice Olson!!
Heidi Klum- she'd be able build a home collection based off her world experiences in fashion and design and have it appeal to the general public like she does on her show Project Runway.
My choice would be David Bromsted, super genius.
Easy, my choice would be David Bromsted, super genius.
Dries Van Noten would make the most incredible home line, hands down. The beautiful collection of patterns, prints, clean lines, and traditional shapes with modern takes would make the most elegant, eclectic home ever. Timeless, but so un-boring! If only I could afford it!!
Man so many designers to choose from. I agree with several of the posts here that I would love to see home lines from past Project Runway winners. I would add to that list Chloe Dao. Love her stuff and so happy her boutique is right down the street from me. I also love Proenza Schouler, so I'd love to see something from them too.
David Bromstad – love the way he works with color to make the rooms so inviting!
Tom Ford.
beautiful!!
