Rue is an online magazine combining the intimacy of the design blog community with the insight and resources of a traditional print magazine. Check out the inaugural issue for gorgeous interiors, must-have furnishings and interviews with industry leaders and young talent.

Equally exciting is the launch of Anthology, a quarterly shelter and lifestyle print magazine. Yes, you heard me — PRINT. In fact, Anthology’s motto is “Print is not dead.” Clearly, the creators of this new mag are on a mission. Fuel their fire by checking out the fall 2010 issue, a narrative look at the pleasures of a simple life.

New Collections:

Take a peak at Duravit’s new Kentho Collection. This utilitarian bathroom design comes from the mind of do-it-all designer Christian Werner.

If you’ve bought a fabulously mod sofa or table from Design Within Reach, check out their just-launched accessories line, full of objets d’art that complement their pieces.

Designer Laura Britt sought to use sustainable pieces in her designs, but found the market to be more hippie chic than haute couture. Vervano Sustainable Furnishings is her solution to the gap in high-end green furniture.

Just Plain Cool:

Stash your stuff in a pre-solved Rubik’s Cube Locker.

In the new trend, butch-crafting, a group of designers nix the glammed-up, polished look in favor of gritty, deconstructed pieces reminiscent of high school shop class.

And why hide all of your style behind bricks and mortar? A glass house lets your stuff take center stage.
