I instantly fell in love with the orange paint on these walls.

Design Public

No doubt it takes a lot of nerve to paint a room in your home a color as bold as this. But the playful hue used in this children’s bedroom has convinced me that it’s possible to do orange without being overwhelming. It’s balanced perfectly with super-bright whites and grays that will help keep it looking fresh all year long.

I need some feedback from anyone who is willing to offer it. I have recently moved into my fiance's home and the whole house needs an overhaul. He has given me complete decorative control with the exception of the living room. He wants it orange with white trim and black furniture, as he is a diehard Cincinnati Bengals fan, and wants to display his many signed items prominently. I love the orange rooms I see on this website. Orange is actually my favorite color! But our living room is a far cry from the bright, spacious rooms with high ceilings and big windows pictured on the site. I am very apprehensive about painting a whole room such a bold color, especially since the front room is seperated only by a divider, and can't really clash. Also, I've got two big dogs, so light colored furniture, while it would lighten things up, is not really feasable. Help!

Does anyone know the color of orange this is?
