This week’s question: What is your design style — fun and quirky, formal and dramatic or something else?

I am definitely a fun and quirky type girl…no matchy-matchy!
simple/modern with bold color and knickknacks here and there.
the swee[stakes is awful- i cannot negoiate due to surveys which cannot close, questions on the side which are off the page and cannot get to , to answer, cannot even see whole questios. the page does not respond. dont tell me its my computer because all else works fine-other sweepstakes, other pages ect. its you. All is REAL slow and nothing else is as slow or awful
Yes ! you are right this picture would look great at the kitchen or maybe the playroom?
And the answer to your question is my design taste is formal, like neutral color on your furniture and then use colors on pillows and accent's that pop to your eyes.
Fun and quirky mixed with euro modern. I love this picture– it has a very whimsical feel. Hope everyone has a nice day!
Clean and modern – neutral background with pops of bright color!
comfortable and modern with a quirky touch.
I've been calling my style Mid-Century Asian-Eclectic Modern. It's a lot rolled into one, but it works.
Fun and colorful!
As I'm registering for my wedding, I've come to realize that my style has evolved into a mix of rustic vintage, hints of nature athestics, with a dab of modern.
Definitely love mixing neutrals with loud pops of color…this picture would be perfect for my kitchen.
Fun and quirky all the way! Emphasis on the FUN!
I'd day my style is mountain granny! Haha, I love mixing any type of floral pattern with seafoam greens and pastels, beautiful pines and even more florals! Also, adding soft textures like crochet work or fur can really bring a room to its full potential.
eclectic and semi-industrial if that even makes sense. I like a lot of metals…which doesnt do great with a toddler I am learning.
fun and formal! I like clean lines but I love bright colors too.
The best phrase I've ever heard to describe my style is "Traditional Funk" (I love it!). I love traditional houses, dark wood, a bit ornate traditional detailing, antiques… all that stuff. But then I love to put in bright, colorful wall color, furniture or just stuff. I like those items to have a purpose, though, like my bright yellow teapot. I'm trying to reduce the clutter!
If anyone has seen the movie Nanny McPhee, its a lot like the design in there.
I am definitely a mix and match type of girl. It just seems that everything I buy somehow "goes together" in one way or another:)
I would describe my style as artsy eclectic. Lots of colors and different fabrics in my home!
My style is comfortable country cottage using quilts, color, and a mix of old and new furnishings and accent pieces.
1920′s grandma/forest whimsical.
I love the color yellow and most of the house is blue with cream and this would add that spot of color that is so important
Nearly every piece of furniture and decor in my home was either given to me or bought at a flea market/antique store. Somehow it all works perfectly together!
So I'd say my style is Hand-me-down chic.
Oh wow, I definitely am a modern chick who loves a retro flair! I love curves, lines, shape, and color. Earthy elements thrown in make the design really grounded. My favorite colors are bright teal, spring green, plum purple, and even a bright orange in some instances. I definitely don't like everything to match, though having it related makes it all flow, and I hate having clutter. I will say that I love dual-purpose solutions, and deal hunting for that perfect design. And zebra print upholstered wooden chairs. I want one so badly…just one.

My design style. I like clean, cool lines. No frills.
my design it bright full of color and fun and quirk.
I love dramatic looks-jewel tones and marble tables are some of my favorites. I'm one of those people who actually have things like marble candleabras and a suit of armour in my living room. The more ornate the better.
I am totally fun and quirky! Love doing things a little different but making it work and look cute! I especially love a touch of homemade and making it your own!
modern, very modern,
wow..greta idea..!!! really fun and quirky design style..
I'm not sure what my style is…I think it's more of a mash of traditional, modern, eclectic and Asian. It all works well together.
Cozy modern. Clean but warm.
Global and earthy, carved woods and rich fabrics a must.
I am a strange combination… I am very artsy. I like things that are different, funky, or vintage. I also like design to be a mix of natural/earthy with pops of color. I am classic and tatseful; nothing gaudy.
My style is found treasure downtown funk! I love mixing periods and using unusual materials such as my living room wall covered in Chinese newspapers.
My style is more modern, I like clean and tidy, but with a kitschy twist. I like found objects and items that have personal meaning. Some trinket passed down from my grandma or an awesome antique/vintage store find are my favorite little things to have setting on shelves or chests or hanging on the wall. They go along with my soft neutral new-bought things but add more interest.
Not really "modern" but definitely clean lines, minimal clutter!

I once asked an interior designer what my style was, because I like such an eclectic mix of things, nothing matching, and she said my style is "transitional". I like a lot!
Maudlin, "rescue it" mentality informs my home's interior design. I rescue stuff that has wonderful shape, color or hidden story, then display it in my home.
My design style is pretty random. I'm a graphic designer and I love art, photography, fantasy, and vintage things. My style kind of combines all of the above. I guess you could say it's kind of an eclectic whimsical artsy thing.
i am contemporary but i do not like the art. would not take it if it was free. sorry!
Given unlimited resources I might change it up but my current style is comfortable/rustic. Love the print, it’d look great in the baby’s room.
This is a very nice site. I learned so much, thank you!
