But what about the insulation?? The fiberglass wads are just pushed aside and never mentioned again!!

These appear to be tall drinking glasses-however, I wonder if they might be some sort of 'thermometer' or 'guage' which changes color …..maybe something that determines when the turkey has roasted long enough…
