Not design relates, but a find none the less…. It was spicy Ginger Ale…. We found it in South Carolina. My husband and I love spicy food, so the Ginger Ale was an unexpected and delightful find.

The best thing about finding something on vacation, is knowing no one around where you live will have the exact same artifact.

This is a great mirror and it would look great in my bathroom with my mermaid prints! While on vacation with some friends in Savannah, we were looking at some of their art galleries…James Dean was outside painting 'Pete the Cat in Savannah'. I bought a print of Pete and had it personalized and autographed by James Dean and Pete the Cat. It stays in my kitchen and reminds me of wonderful people and fun each morning as I get my first cup of coffee. What a great way to start the day!

While vacationing in Gulfshores Alabama (which we do 2 times a year) I found unique soaps with scents to remind me of the surf, sand, air and warmth of the sun and each time I bathe, I receive the gift of memories of our time at the beach. Since my bathrooms have just been re-done to reflect the beach, this mirror would add the crowning touch.

  16. While honeymooning in Key West, my husband and I found an artist on Duval Street that hand paints the letters of your name with tropical designs. It was such a perfect representation of our vacation that we just had to have one! It now hangs on our living room wall as a reminder of our laid back Key West honeymoon!
