Finally, an affordable home in New York City!

Measuring a mere 350 square feet, this luxury modular home from Meka World isn’t that much smaller than many Manhattan apartments. But at just under $40,000, it certainly sells for way under market price. The Canadian-based company is holding an open house in the West Village until the end of the month.

The Meka World prefabricated/modular designs seem quite affordable considering the fixtures and finishes within. Depending where they are manufactured and how far they need to be transported, they could be a very environmentally friendly alternative to traditional construction as well. http://www.modernenviro.com/

And if our economy keeps going the way it is the MEKA prefabricated homes are going to stay around for a while.
