It is a beverage caddy. Wine bottles would look beautiful in this. I would love to use it to display rolled towels in a guest or powder bathroom. Each one holding a complimentary color.
I was going to go with Utensil caddy, but now going with wine bottle holder. (I'm being serious, and not to be opposite of Laura R.) It's pretty funny how that worked out though.
I would think it would topple over as a wine bottle holder. I would use it as a centerpiece display. Fill it with my favorite bouquets. Maybe add cardholders to use as name placeholders on a small round table for four.
I think I got carried away with what I would do with it rather than what it is but that was fun!
Depending upon its true size it could be a wine bottle holder. However, it might look beautiful filled with colorful fruits; lemons, limes, apples, and pears. It looks like it spins as well. I wonder how old it is?
