For the 12 days leading up to Christmas, I’ve been sharing with you my design wish list for Santa. We’re more than half-way there. Now, I know I’m crossing the line and treading into fashion with wish list item #8 – a bracelet from Nervous System – but I think it’s worth it.

Two MIT graduates founded Nervous System. All of their housewares and jewelry designs are grounded in natural forms and geometries. For instance, this bracelet is inspired by radiolaria.

If you’re wishing for jewelry this Christmas, what’s at the top of your list?

When it comes to jewelry my tastes are fairly simple — a plain genuine ruby and white gold pendant necklace accented with a tiny diamond is all I ask! This one would be ideal:

And this necklace of cranberry pearls on silver would work as well:

I also like this sterling silver fetish necklace with turquoise beads:

I could go on and on, but I think my list is long enough — Santa, are you listening? LOL!
