On this last day of 2010, we’re celebrating the new year with a Freebie Fridays giveaway from one of our all-time favorite lifestyle retailers — Z Gallerie. (You should see my Z Gallerie wish list. It’s intense.)
Z Gallerie wants you take home their Bedford Tray — a must have for the refined dinner party host. Or a romantic finishing touch for the next time you serve breakfast in bed to that special someone. Simply leave a comment answering this week’s question before 12/11c Monday, January 3, for a chance to win.
This week’s question: What’s your favorite drinking toast? (Let’s keep it PG.)
The start of the new year is all about resolutions, like eliminating clutter. Make your post-holiday organization as smooth as your entertaining with this get-it-together guide from HGTV.com.

We have been shouting "SKOL" since I can remember whether we are shooting Tequila and toasting Champagne. I have no idea what it means but we all shout it out loudly with a big smile on our face and laughter all around.
My favorite is "Sliante" I come from a Scotts/Irish family and the traditional Gaelic toasts mean the most to me.
To Life and Love.
Favorite New Year's Toast:
"Wishing everyone Peace, Love, and Happiness in the New Year."
One of my favorite toasts…To good time, good friends, and many more.
Eat, drink, and be merry! Okay, it is cheesy, but I still like it.
To health and wealth and happiness!
Here's" to it", and "to it", and "to it" again. And… if you ever get "to it" to "do it", "DO IT" for you may never may get "to it" to "do it" again! My toast to all since senior year, class of 81. AWESOME!!!
I'm going to make this my new motto. Luv it!!!!
Here's to the love we give away, for it's the only love we keep.
A quote I really like, "We spend January 1 walking through our lives, room by room, drawing up a list of work to be done, cracks to be patched. Maybe this year, to balance the list, we ought to walk through the rooms of our lives, not looking for flaws, but for potential."
Happy Birthday to us! (The only time we toast is at our joint birthday party – 4 friends all with birthdays in the same month)
My favorite toast would be…"to love, laughter, health and happiness!"
If toasting to someone, I like to mention something that is personal to that person or couple. I then like to broaden the scope to include her, his, or their place in America.
To life, love, and laughter!
Simple cheers for us! Lovely tray!
Naz Dravye! My mother's favorite-man could she sling back the vodka.
I keep it simple, “All the best!”
Any toast that my brother in law makes…he's the best toaster!
Gorgeous tray and great taste!!
My favorite toast would be "To more happiness and success in life "
Cheers!
May your life be filled with love and laughter
To good friends, good health and happiness!
They say that whatever your doing New Years Day is what your going to be doing for the rest of the year. We always toast to the family all being together on New Years and thanking GOD.
My favorite toast is: Here's to a blessed New Year and to our family who couldn't be with us this Holiday Season.
Love the tray!
“Let us lift our glasses in a toast to the world that the coming hours, days, months, years find us all still together.”
To good friends and happy days….Cheers!
"May the road rise to meet you, May the wind be always at your back."
When my husband and I make a toast I say "Here's to you" and he says "Here's to us". Love him and the tray. lol
I've always loved this "May the most you ever wish for
Be the least you ever receive!"
We aren't very imaginative when it comes to toasts. My favorite toast is: To Health, Wealth and Happiness! That about sums it up!
A special toast for lots of these P's in our life – peace, prosperity, productivity ,patience and prayer
My favorite toast " I would like to tell my friends and family how much it means to have you here, I wish you all the most Health, wealth and happiness in the New Year!"
If I were asked to give a toast for the new year, I would end it with, "…calm the need to be right and forgo the need to prove others wrong."
My favorite toast with family and friends has been "Here's to you and to me and the space between us. If one has to part, may it be the space between us."
My favorite toast is “Bottoms Up!” Beverly
Here's our family New Year's Toast….our family of 5 enjoys a Pear Sparkling Cider toast (around 9PM), so the young ones can enjoy it as well, share our resolutions and then toast:
"Here's to another year of family fun, laughs and lifetime of memories full of love!"
The tray is elegant and beautiful. I would love to use it to serve at my next dinner party! A toast is definitely venue dependant. But, for toasting friends: May friendships like wine improve with time, cheers to old friends, old wine and young cares~author unknown
Happy New Year! Wishing you the best and beautiful in life.
I simply say…Happy christmas, and a merry new year!!! Because happiness is fleeting but merryment is longer lasting.
May you always be able to lie and steal
Steal time for each other and always have time to lie down with each other
Cent Anni – 100 years of life, love and happiness! An Italian toast!
The Serenity Prayer is my toast….it is what makes my life so enjoyable: God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the DIFFERENCE. Some of my favorite items have come from Z Gallery !.
Here's to today… as we embark on our memories for tomorrow… Let us drink to our good health, unending friendship, and happiness… Cheers:)
Live long and prosper……
MY FAVORITE TOAST IS "HAPPY DAYS!" GRANDMA MORGAN ALWAYS SAID IT!
My Favorite toast "To the old long life and treasure; to the young all health and pleasure!"
Here's to health, happiness, friendship and love!
My favorite Toast "God Bless all here!"
"Here's to the men that we love, Here's to the men that love us. Since the men that we love aren't the men that love us — to heck with the men, Here's to Us!"
It's an old college toast, and it still makes all the girls in our gang stand up and Cheer!
i like it!
