It's a seat. Fold it up and it's out of the way, lower it and sit on down.

i would say towel or coat hook but it curves too much so i would say a hat or purse hook instead seems a little narrow for a seat at least for my big bu**~lol

It looks like the shape of a bicycle seat. I think it is a seat in the mudroom for putting on boots, etc.

It's a shower seat. Nice and clean I might add. Not like my wood and (unknown) metal model that I regularly have to take outside and power spray the yuck off of.
