Daily Delight: Mary Temple

I fell hard for the illusions in artist Mary Temple’s work:

In her series of installation paintings, Temple plays with light, shadows and perception. What appears to be a bright spot of light cast from a window onto the walls and floor of this room featured on My Love for You…doesn’t actually exist. It’s latex paint. (Makes me want to paint shadows all over my house.)

This is so awesome. I am a photographer and am always taking shadow pictures. People think I am strange to do this but it's so intriguing to me and the pictures turn out really neat. Thanks for sharing this a wonderful idea. Sue
